I can't start to think how many times these publication has saved me from buying an overly priced disappointing product, and how many times it has tipped me off to a very high value and very high quality whisky I'd have otherwise overlooked. It pays for itself many times over. Totally recommended.

Everybody's palate is different & don't agree with him on everything..... Mr. Murray tastes Licorice in a LOT more pours than I do! Overall this book is great to have & review before you go chase the expensive bottles that may not live up to the hype.

If you are a single malt scotch drinker you can’t be without this gem of a reference book. I do single malt tastings for groups of 8-15 people and I use this book for selection of the singles we taste.
