I just wanted something that could cut without me fighting it. Nothing fancy just something that works. It is heavy and feels solid in the hand which I liked right away. It cuts through branches and brush way easier than I expected. I used it for yard cleanup and a little camping prep and it handled both fine. Swinging it around made me feel a bit like I knew what I was doing. There are a couple small downsides though. The weight can wear your arm out after a while. The handle grip could be better when your hands get sweaty. Also it came pretty sharp but I still touched it up a bit. Overall it does the job and feels tough enough to last. I would not use it for super detailed work but for clearing stuff it is solid. No complaints from a normal guy just trying to tame his yard. It gets the job done without drama.

This is a great piece of yard equipment. It is a easy to handle machete that I have been able to use comfortably to cut limbs and vicious shrubs back. My backyard is turning into a war zone of weeds and blackberry brambles. I needed something that I can handle to try and beat them back. I found this machete and I really like it. The case was the main selling point for me. The hard plastic really holds up and Im not afraid its going to come through the case. The grip is just right and it cuts like nobodys business.

This machete is excellent; it's very high quality, a good thickness, and very sharp. I bought it to chop pork, and it cuts incredibly well. I love it!

Came bent, not a great initial sign. Okay weight, fairly sharp though could be much sharper. Sheath is just loose cover for the blade with no attachment points, so you'll need to wrap it. Steel quality is someone suspect. Grip: comfy handle that handles shock well, though it's very unbalanced and little weird to swing. Size: Good length.
