Bergan Turbo Scratcher Replacement Pads, 2 Pack

I bought the blue Bergan turbo scratcher cat toy at Walmart, and my cat loves it! But, Walmart is always out of the replacement scratch pads so, of course, I decided to check out trusty ol Amazon and, of course, found the ones that I needed for it! I was really worried that they may not fit because I wasn't sure of the size I needed so I checked out the reviews and was able to figure it out. They're a great product! They're very dense and tough so it takes awhile for my cat to scratch it to nothing. It's been several months and I have only needed to flip it over and still have the other one (it came in a two pack). It's definitely worth buying if you have a cat or cats who love to go total ham on these cardboard scratchy rounds, and the price is more than fair. It didn't take too long to arrive either! I will definitely buy this product again as soon as my cat destroys the ones we have! Why did you pick this product vs others?: I read the reviews and there were many great reviews recommending this product and the reviews helped me figure out what size I needed because I wasn't sure what the measurements are for the cat toy that I bought these for.

I have three cats and one Bergen Turbo Scratcher. If there were more floor space, I'd have three Turbo Scratchers since the little brats love it so much, but alas, they are forced to share. This means that the scratcher is rarely unoccupied, and the cardboard center magically transforms from a solid circle to a million little bits all over the living room within a few weeks. In an effort to keep peace in the house and hopefully extend my consecutive hours of sleep, I keep a supply of replacement centers on hand to prevent the riots from ensuing when it gets demolished. These centers fit in perfectly- there are little tabs on the scratcher and the center has to be kind of squished to fit underneath them, but the result is a snug fit that's worthy of standing up to a variety of the most rigorous and vigorous scratchies. The youngest (and most evil) absolutely *must* keep her claws extra sharp in order to slice flesh whenever the whim strikes, and does so by having 5+ minute scratch sessions multiple times daily. My old man, who thinks he's still a kitten, will attack it hard-and-fast with wild eyed fury, tear around the house, then speed back for a quick resharpening before heading for a snack. The eldest, a declawed rescue, just loves to dig her little toes around the edges and squish them between the ridges in the cardboard, prying it apart. Between the three of them, the scratcher gets some pretty hard wear. It's still in surprisingly good condition, and the only piece that's needed replacing at all has been the cardboard center, so I'm happy that there are replacement centers available. I'd hate to replace the whole thing for just that. I have noticed that the replacement cardboards seem to wear differently than the original- not that they fall apart any more quickly, but more that the circles will come apart instead of the whole thing disintegrating. Perhaps they're made with a more sturdy cardboard but less secure glue? Either way, the brats are happy, and it's apparently a more satisfying scratch than the sofa so that makes me happy.

so i was walking in the neighborhood and as i passed a few cute pakistani children in their best saturday clothing, they asked me if i wanted a kitten. i immediately said, 'no, but can i see?' they opened the box and there was this cute, teeny weeny tortie shell curled up. i looked at the boy holding a feeder he was using, realized they were children themselves, and looked at the kitty and thought, 'this kitty is going to die if i don't care for her because there's no way these babies are going to get up every 3 hours to feed her.' so i said, 'i'll take her.' then the leader of the pack told me only if i told him where i lived. so i told him not only where i lived,but that i also worked around the corner and that he can come in a few days to get an update on the kitty. he then felt that he could trust me enough and proceeded to give me the kitty (smart boy) and i ran off to my home and dropped her off with my daughter (who thought i picked up another bird, only to watch it die) while i scrambled to a pet store to find food and search frantically on the internet on how to care for a 10 day old kitty. fast foward a few months and i needed to get some scratchers because she needed an outlet for those claws. i bought a fancy standing scratcher and i have some other box that i use for storage and has sisal twine, but this scratcher is her absolute FAVORITE. We flip this puppy around until it's done with. Did I mention it's her absolute FAVORITE? I only had an issue with one that broke apart quickly, but the others are holding up to her scratching. My Queen has not destroyed her castle at all. Thank God!

What I Like - These fit right in to the Bergan Turbo Scratcher. The Turbo Scratcher has little tabs to keep it in place so your cat doesn’t pull it out. Just make sure you angle and press it into place. You’ll have to do a little gentle bending. The great thing about these is they’re double sided. If your cat ends up scratching it to completion, you can always flip it over and voila, brand new! What I Don’t Like - These cardboard circles are a little thin, but they’re exact replacements. Any thicker wouldn’t fit. I just wish as a company they’d have made the whole Turbo Scratcher would have been made to handle a thicker pad. Not a big enough deal to lose a star.

I bought it as replacement pad for my CatIt and it’s bigger in diameter. I just had to peel off a few to fit it in the holder. It’s well-made so it worked. The only thing is I bought 4 units and it all came separately. Not very practical considering the amount of plastic used on each.
