This works with the HP 8500a! Just printed on regular paper and inkjet transparency film. This is great! Just took the ink cartridges out of the plastic wrap and put it in the printer. Nothing to remove. No tape to peel. Printer recognized it was non hp ink - just pressed ‘ok’. Printer Cleaned printhead for a few minutes. Was able to print within 3 minutes. Works amazingly well. Very pleased. Quite a savings compared to What I Could have paid ($150-$200 )for the same amount of ink from HP. Glad I didn’t. 😉

Update: in April 2019 After my previous review( see below ), the manufacturer responded quickly and sent a replacement! This was unexpected but changed my review from three stars to five. Bottom line, I received twice the amount of ink cartridges for less than half the price. Any company that stands behind their product like this deserves a chance to stand out here on Amazon I would recommend people to purchase from Jetsir for the main reason that they stand behind a Repurposed re-filled product that helps sustain our environment. I purchased this product and have been unable to get my printer to work since. It constantly cleans the printhead. When I was able to get it to print, the colors were not all working. I contacted the seller they provided additional instructions that also did not work. At that point, they refunded my money. While the product did not work for me, I was pleased with their customer service.

I installed them in the HP printer. It went very well.I have not installed the Brother cartridges yet.

These cartridges work great... when the ink gets low it feels empty. Not like some other cartridges that when the ink level low light comes on it still feels half full. Great Purchase!!

I have an HP printer they work fantastic just follow the installation instruction and viola they work great and saved a bunch of money. HP original ink cartridges are grossly overpriced!!! Thanks for the savings...

These cartridges are not worth buying. Compared to cartridges I get from HP they stink. HP cartridges lasted about a year. These last a few months. My opinion- JUNK.
