Easy to apply They take the impact energy and shatter saving the screen. Either that or they fracture when the phones dropped. After several 1 metre + falls on to a hard floor no damage to the main screen so I'll take that they work.

The complete lack of instructions left me fumbling in the dark, referencing online tutorials for a generic application process that may or may not have been compatible with this specific product.* Cheap Materials: Despite the price point, which led me to believe this was a high-quality screen protector, the materials felt incredibly cheap. The cleaning wipes were flimsy and dried streaky, leaving a hazy residue on my phone's screen. The tempered glass itself felt thin and insubstantial, raising concerns about its ability to protect my phone in the event of a drop.* Poor Fit: Even after a painstaking application process (thanks to the lack of instructions), the screen protector didn't fit my phone perfectly. There were noticeable gaps along the edges, which not only looked unsightly but also compromised the claimed edge-to-edge protection.* Missing Tools: To make matters worse, the kit lacked any tools to remove air bubbles, a common challenge with tempered glass screen protectors. Additionally, a microfiber cloth, essential for cleaning the screen before application to ensure a dust-free surface, was absent.In conclusion, this screen protector was a frustrating and overpriced disappointment. it fits the 8a including the circle cut out around the camera without affecting use and didn't so much of that bubble rubbish. It arrived clean and the packaging kept it free of dust, and neither were chipped, cracked or broken. Only slight negative is it doesn't cover the ENTIRE screen so you absolutely should be getting a case that can protect those edges, too, in case it scrapes against the edge. This picture is the phone without a case on ay all, so those edges are the phone's limits rather than extra rubber from a case or whatever.
