USB port broke easily.
You'll have to excuse the dust in the photo. This is in a work environment, but in no way exposed to rough use. It pretty much just sits on a shelf.About four or five months after buying this I was plugging a new charging cable into one of the USB ports and the port just pushed into the housing. The cable was inserted perfectly straight and was halfway in when it broke. I inserted it gently, using the same amount of force I've applied to every USB connector I've used since the late 1990s.There was no cracking or breaking sound or anything. It just pushed right in.This is definitely some sort of design flaw. I had two micro USB charging cables plugged into it, which were almost never removed. If I had been inserting and removing those cables on a regular basis, I have no doubt that this thing would have broken within a few days of use.I'm going to buy a new one and disassemble this one to see if it can be repaired, but I don't hold out much hope. I don't think the jack was ever attached to the plastic. I think it just dangles there from a circuit board and will likely snap off if I try to bend it back.

Very Lightweight
This item for all intents and purposes is fine. It is very lightweight. I assumed the weight of the plugs would hold it down. Not so much...it might be a location issue. Where I placed it is a limited space area. The cord attached to the surge protector has a wrap around design For organization. The on off switch is right on top. The 2 USB ports are located near the bottom so the are under what you have plugged in. The cord on the protected is slightly flexible which also helps in organization. It’s working well for what I need... computer, printer, Bose computer speakers, my Alexa device, a wireless charger, and a cell phone charging cord that has lights on it. I can’t really say if I recommend buying this. I would say yes because it works, but I would say no too since I went to plug the USB cord in one of the ports collapsed. I really don’t want to send it back but just wanted seller to know.

Awesome if you have the desk space.
So I’ve always been a little OCD about unplugging my computer equipment from the wall to protect them during storms so having one plug that covers 8 devices for $15 is sweet. Hopefully I never have to find out if the surge protector works. I love the USB jacks to keep my headphones and Fire charged up all day at work too. I keep mine table top since I can’t imagine this being a good unit for the floor (because it would need to be several inches from the baseboard plus most USB device charging cables aren’t that long). And I do believe this design could handle multiple “brick” plugs if you are still using devices with big power supplies. I’ve bought $100 surge protector strips with 10 outlets and at most, you’d be able to do 2 bricks on a full strip. So, really like this circular design.

Works for our needs
We had this round surge protector for 1.5 years now. We use it in the living/family room for a floor lamp and for charging various electronics. The round shape allows it to fit in a narrow space and still accommodate different types/shapes of cords. My only complaint is that there is no grip on the bottom, causing it to slide around on the hard wood floor when you try to plug/unplug any cords.

Bought these for a guest room
I bought these for a guest room and love them! The outlet in the room is behind the bed, which made it inconvenient for guests to charge/plug in anything. I love that the cords on these can be wrapped up in the base- I didn't even know that was a feature when I bought these! And they provide outlets as well as USB connections for charging your phones/devices. We received a few compliments on them already!

Great on my office desk
I got this for on my new home office desk. it's a great little gadget I really love the usb outlets for my phone. And with the round design it's much easier to plug in both my monitors, desktop, printer, laptop and lamp. It fits perfectly behind my monitors and takes up hardly any room. I ordered another one for my nightstand since this turned out to be a great item.

works, but only half the outlets a time
i've had this product for months now and can confidently say that it works as it should...well half of it at least. for some reason, only 3 of the 6 outlets will work at a time. i've experimented to see if it depends on devices, or if it's certain outlets that don't work... but that's not it. regardless of which devices are plugged in, only 3 of the outlets will work at a time. it can be any combination of 3 outlets, but only 3 will supply power.everything else works well. i like the circlular shape, which is why i got it. it's also cool that the power cord wraps around so you can change the length of the power cord.

Does what it's supposed to
This thing does exactly what you'd expect. It's bigger than you might expect--some of the reviewers seemed to expect a small thing that you can hide on your desktop, but an outlet is the size of an outlet so they can't change that. I like that it gives enough room for devices with large "wall wort" boxes, that end up covering neighboring outlets on other power strips. The two USB ports are great too, and the ability to roll up excess cable makes keeps you from having cable spread all over your floor.
