Not bad
Though it doesn't fill me with confidence reading first few pages telling you that writer and other people can't take responsibility for any damages done while reading book and can't garrentee it to be accurate. Leads me to ask if the person who wrote the book as a clue what he's doing?

Great reference resource
If you need a printed reference for C#, (in preference to looking up things on-line), It would be difficult to find a better resource than this book. Excellent explanations, and useful examples to try out.

Best book for a C# newbie
I cant rate this from professionals point of view, but as a total newbie in programming I think this is the best book I have found while trying to find a book for learning C#. Everything is very well explained and keeps you wanting to learn more and more, when in the first couple of minutes you start actually coding and understanding it.

Exceptional Reference
This arrived sharp, and I have to say it is an outstanding reference guide. It comes in very handy for checks, but could also be a handy tutorial book for beginning users. The writing is very precise and easy to understand, with examples being provided to further demonstrate the descriptive context.A must for any student of computer science or software development.

Excellent Quality
I have read a few C# books now, this one is absolutely excellent and certainly the best I have read so far. The author has the knack of making even the most complex of topics seem simple by breaking them up into easily understandably fragments and then brings those fragments together to form a complete picture. I've had a number of light bulb moments whilst reading this book - highly recommended!

Well Written Tutorial for the C# Language
Generally the 'Complete Reference' series of books are pretty good, especially those written by Herbert Schildt.Way back I started with 'C The Complete Reference' then followed on to 'C++ The Complete Reference' when it came out. I now find that 'C# The Complete Reference' is similarly good. As most other reviewers on Amazon say, it's well written and structured in a style that is helpful and easy to follow. The C# environment, especially the .NET framework, and how it all fits together is a huge area and is not covered in much detail in this book but if you want to learn the C# language itself and get an introduction to the most commonly used parts of the C# Library this book is the best choice and is highly recommended.
