Expensive but couldn’t find a substitute

This item is packaged specifically for using as a key fob, but can be used with any item requiring a like sized coin battery.I recommend writing the date, using a Sharpie, on the battery when you install it so you can determine if it lasted a reasonable amount of time. If it does not last, you can then shop other brands.

I was slightly surprised by the price of this new order, but in the end, I was not disappointed. Let me explain why. It is, of course, a standard CR2354 battery, and, as expected, it is from an unknown brand. However, when I received the package, I understood what the deal was. This order includes not only the battery itself but also two small screwdrivers (one cross-head and one flat) and a trimming tool that allows me to open the key fob without damage. You see, this was not my first battery replacement, and the first time I tried to open the key fob, I scratched it badly using a regular metal screwdriver. The plastic trimming tool, however, allows me to do this without leaving any scratches on the key's body. Also, the two small screwdrivers helped me dismantle the protective cover I use. As for how long the battery will last, only time will tell. It's been a week since I replaced it, and my key fob works at a sufficiently long distance from the car, just like with any other batteries, including brand-name ones.

This battery works perfectly for my 2021 model X fob. It was pretty easy to install. The included tools came in handy and I'm sure I will find other uses for them. The battery works well. I have range back on my remote. It's pretty easy to locate a video YouTube for install instructions, but the product also had a QR code with a link to an instructional video too.
