Tilt Cam 3k/5MP: I bought this camera to keep track of my puppy. The set up was very easy and the functions are great. I recently raised a ticket to the team for a minor bug with the app on my tablet and they were very responsive and have advised a fix will be in the next update. My only gripe would be the cost of the optional AI and Cloud storage subscription which I think is a bit dear and detracts from a great product!

It was so easy to set up this camera. Download the Switchbot app, sign up and then plug in the camera. The whole process took no more than a couple of minutes. I have started to use the camera to monitor the front of the house (obviously from the inside as this camera is for indoor use only) and for the first 2 days it has been without a SD card. An SD card is on its way ! I have the camera set for Human Detection and so far whenever it detects such movement a notification is sent through to my iPhone. Picture quailty is pretty good too. I also have a Kasa Spot camera which is only 1080p and the difference in picture quality between the two cameras is quite noticeable . From the app you can also pan and tilt the camera as well as set a number of adjustments such as Motion Detection, Night Vision. Currently the Kasa 2k pan and tilt camera is £54 and this Switchbot 3k camera is £79.99. There is no denying that this Switchbot camera is very good, appears to be very well made and gives a great picture but I am not sure I would pay the extra £25 over and above the Kasa 2k camera. If a 3K picture quality is important to you then you may be happy to pay the premium price of this Switchbot camera. If you just need a decent reliable camera for use indoors and budget is important then you might want to look at the alternatives first. If this camera was nearer £60 than £75 I would have awarded it 5 stars . Its cost is the only rerason I only give it 4 stars as to be honest I cannot fault the camera at all. Incidentally Switcbot do sell a variety of other cameras and sensors which can all be linked using their Hub Mini, so you can if you wish build a whole 'eco system' of Switchbot stuff.

I have a mainly Ring and Blink camera set-up throughout my home but have never really got on with their mini versions so when this was offered to me through the Vine program for review I saw no reason not to give it a go and it is a decision I don't regret. It was important that Alexa is supported and I can confirm this is the case though I would have also like HomeKit Integration as I do plan on moving over to that in the future. Setup was a simple matter of downloading the app, switching the camera on and hitting add device, the camera was found immediately and on connection automatically updated to the latest firmware. Picture clarity is excellent, motion detection & Human detection work flawlessly and pan tilt is easy to control. I have a very clinical desk setup so wanted something that didn't detract from this, the main purpose being as an added layer of security when I'm away from my desk, this definitely fits the bill, I particularly like that it isn't on a flimsy stand so sits securely on the desk. For those not keen on a free standing camera, a mount is supplied in the box. I may have to look into more Switchbot products if they all work as well as this.

This is an absolute whizz. So easy to set up - literally plug it in .... download the app, connect to your phone, input your wifi password and its literally good to go. Its not a big unit so it sits nicely in amongst lots of other nic nacks on my basement sideboard and it plugs in (white power lead so very unobtrusive as well) and, best of all, I've even connected it to my Alexa app so I can see and view the basement hallway on my Alexa screens. Huge peace of mind in a security sense as well as I can now see what's going on down in my basement when I'm not there. I was very nervous setting this up as I'm known for not being very teccy - but if I can do it all on my own then anyone can - literally !!! I now have the app on my phone and access live camera pics from my Amazon screens and you can speak through the Amazon screen or app as well (and hear). The camera tracks movement as well. A fabulous easy to set up and easy to work security camera - I will be buying more and linking them up to each other via Alexa. Fabulous and cannot recommend highly enough. You do just need to be able to plug it in. It did mention ceiling mounting but then you have trailing wires so I preferred to table mount it. Five Stars

This Switchbot home security camera (5MP) is a compact unit with a lot of features that I came to discover. The unit itself is easy to set up and part of that is to download and link it to the associated app. I ordered the camera to set it up to point out towards the front garden and my car, but it can also be used as an internal camera at the same time with its ability to rotate 360 degrees. The camera can tilt up and down as well but to a lesser degree, but which is still more than adequate to cover the room as well as outside. In daylight the picture is crisp & clear, and the night vision is also good. The AI capability to distinguish between a false and positive identification of people is very good, almost flawless - for some previous security cameras that I’ve owned I’ve had to turn off notifications, but this one has been more reliable. My previous security cameras have been static ones so being able to pan & tilt with this one has been a much welcome improvement. With it positioned at a window, I can access the outside and inside of my home.

Ich habe diese Kamera vor etwa einem Jahr gekauft – es ist bereits meine zweite SwitchBot-Kamera. Die Videoqualität ist scharf und die App ist wirklich super, sehr benutzerfreundlich und voller Funktionen. Ich habe Wifi 7 zuhause und ab und zu trennt sich die Kamera einfach vom WLAN. Auch sehr schade: Die Kamera unterstützt keine 5GHz-Netzwerke und funktioniert nur mit dem langsameren WLAN-Standard 802.11n. Außerdem ist die Audioqualität vom Mikrofon verbesserungsbedürftig. Tolle Bildqualität, tolle App, aber beim Ton und der WLAN-Stabilität gibt es definitiv Verbesserungsbedarf.

Je l'ai mis dans ma maison entre deux chambres et c'est très cool parce qu'il a la vision large et peut prendre en vision beaucoup de choses. Les fonctionnalités sont très bonnes, il se mets en privacy quand j'arrive à la maison et s'active quand je sors. Il a le détecteur des mouvements et des personnes et même l'alarme. La seule chose est que ça ne fonctionne pas pour moi pour voir l'image quand je suis sur ma ligne téléphonique, ça marche seulement sur le WiFi, mais apparemment c'est un problème seulement lié à mon opérateur téléphonique et l'équipe du Switchbot est en train de résoudre le problème. Pour info je suis sur Bouygues.

Reagerar lite väl lätt på ljus och skuggor... Så en del "falsklarm" blir det. Men annars är det inga problem.

La calidad de imagen es impresionante, con una resolución nítida que permite distinguir claramente los detalles incluso en condiciones de poca luz. La instalación fue sencilla y la conexión wifi es estable, sin caídas inesperadas. La aplicación móvil es intuitiva y fácil de usar, lo que hace que revisar las grabaciones sea rápido y eficiente. Destaco su excelente visión nocturna, que permite ver claramente durante la noche, y la función de detección de movimiento, que envía alertas precisas a mi teléfono. Su diseño compacto y discreto la convierte en una opción perfecta para cualquier hogar. Sin duda, recomendaría esta cámara a cualquiera que busque una solución de seguridad fiable y de alta calidad.

This is my second Switchbot camera (the other one is 2MP version) and must say that overall the setup, quality and responsiveness is a great step up! Unboxing: Quick & fast setup with the Switchbot app, integrates easily into the ecosystem of curtain bots and the hub. You scan the QR with the camera and everything is ready to use, under 5 mins. Camera view: Of course the most important, where this camera is really great with panning and zooming around, the view is very wide (can capture my entire 7 meter wide living room). Also the angle up and down works perfect when trying to track your pets across the house. The quality is amazing, both day and night its clearly easy to see what you're looking at. This requires a good connection with your Wifi station to provide a good bitrate into the app to livestream the camera view though. Overall: Its a small and easy to install camera which you can use day and night with a few nice features. The app works well with the entire ecosystem and setup is quick and fast. Some features like streaming to PC or accessible via internet would be great but overall amazing product!
