So far so good. It's very light, has a great picture, sound quality acceptable pretty much like any new TV. Having Fire TV built in is a great feature, as we would normally need to buy a Firestick for every new TV but there is no need now. The Fire OS is in my opinion far better than all the rest (including Android). It's simple, quick, and tailored exactly for TV watching. I don't need Android capabilities on my TV like I do on my phone, I just want something simple and uncluttered which the Fire OS does very well.So in summary, any TCL TV in my opinion is cracking value for money if you just want a good 4k LED picture which let's face it, is good enough for most people unless you are used to OLED (which I am not and nor will I pay £1000 extra for when today's LED screens are excellent).

Had this tv a week now and its one of the best tv ive owned its especially good for gaming aswell which is what sold it to me brilliant picture and sound u wouldn't need a sound bar that's how good the sound is would highly recommend this tv

Not a bad tv at all really.Quite happy with it.Looks very well and almost bezellessBought as an upgrade to my bedroom tv.Took a bit of tweaking in the settings to get the picture looking right and natural.Advise to turn off all the horrid effects the supposed enhancements have on the image.Judder reduction, motion blur etc.Sound is terrible as expected and tinny.My Alexa dots won't pair directly with the tv and the alexa app cant be installed on it either, so i cant use them as cinema surrounds without using my firestick for them to connect to.Although alexa commands do work for controlling the tv through the dots or other alexa device.I'm not convinced there would be a noticeable difference between any of the tcl models in the price range other than the operating systems being Android, Roku or firetvRidiculous that all the reviews for every model of tcl tv's are bundled together.Pointless.Every review i looked at was for a different model other than the one I purchased, yet they were the reviews associated with the model I decided on.Why they dont all have independent reviews for specific model baffles me.All and all in general im happy enough for what it is for what I paid for it €250Nice picture once adjusted and sound wouldn't suit most without using soundbar or home cinema.

Disappointing quality! The image seems blurry and fake and although I tried various settings it's very dark even for a image/ video that is very bright. It's that difficult to watch that realistically I won't think this is worth a penny. I's very cheap I agree however it fails when it comes to the main purpose but has more advanced settings which is pointless to use if you can't see the image properly in the first place. No one cares about smart connection if you can't even see the screen properly.

Very good indeed - 55" is a good size for most living rooms - Picture quality excellent, good contrast and nice depth of colour. Sound - whilst a soundbar would be better, for a TV the sound is fairly decent, just a little short on the bass.Android TV a good choice, plenty of apps and ability to set granular settings.Only criticism would be the Android TV interface, can be occassionaly a little slow compared to a dedicated dongle, but as this is a sub £300 TV, it is not a deal breaker and far far from an issue.Overall, reflective of price a good 5 Star.
