VALUE
You’ll find plenty of reasons to buy this optic. The side loading battery, high brightness settings, clear glass, reliable zero, easy install, shake awake, and COST.The brand name optics will always use the logic “but can you trust your life to it?”. The answer is yes. This was likely made with the exact same techniques in the exact same place as many manufacturers make. Technology trickles down and the lowest standard in 2024 is higher than it ever has been. Not saying this optic is using the lowest standard. It’s really only that the highest end is there added durability and features that tend to be mission specific.I promise you you can trust your life to this optic and use the saved money to buy ammo and train.

Surprised at quality and reliability. It works and holds zero.
Bought this after I tried their RDS to see if I'd have the same experience. I did. Brilliant little RDS. IT DOES NOT SHAKE AWAKE as advertised, but as long as you overlook this it's a solid piece of kit. Dot is easy to see, has multiple brightness settings from "I can barely see it in the dark" to "holy cow that's bright in broad daylight". Holds zero over 1000s of rounds of 9mm. Battery lasts a loooooooooooooooooooooong time. Rugged aluminum housing, clear glass. Just remember to turn it on and turn it off if left for extended periods. Not disappointed at the price-point (I have Holosuns, Vortex, etc.). Offer anyone who wants to trash this as cheap Chinesium a hammer to go pound their junk flat first and then offer them this to try for themselves. They haven't and should.

3..2..1..zero it’s that easy
Votatu does a great job here. Optic is absolutely fantastic! Mounted on my 30SC and holds zero like a champ from such a snappy pistol. Perfect size and sight window.

Worked great until I got home.
First off I'd have to say that I was impressed with the product and everything seemed to be great with it. I love the idea of the side battery compartment, and the way that it was built in general look like it would last for years. I go to the range far off 150 rounds everything is sweet, then I take it home. Once I got home I took it off its mounting so that I could get a good clean on the pistol and then I remount it and nothing, poof. No light. I changed the battery and still the same thing. Then after an hour I pick it up and the lights on oh great now it's working then the light went off. Reluctantly I contact Amazon saying I'm going to need to return the item and I put it in the box. I go online on YouTube and everywhere looking for an answer, and all I get a rave reviews on the item. I know I'm not the only one that's had this problem, or am I the first? Either way I sent it back and I'm hoping for either a full refund or maybe a store credit. I'm very reluctant to purchase another one of these because of this, but what are the odds that I would get a second one and it still wouldn't work?it was cheap and in my budget, and I guess it goes with the old saying that you get what you paid for. I hope everyone else has a better experience.

Great sight
This product seems to be everything it is advertised to ge. Seems well made.I like the shake awake, very sensitive. Battery drawer is on the side, so you don't have to dismount the sight to change the battery.Easy to mount too. Costs way less than other brands.Green dot is very visible with ability to change the brightness.

Looks well made and fit perfectly
I chose this dot since it has a backup cutout. Mounting any dot on a Canik Rival causes you to lose your rear sight. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on an unknown but I’m very pleased. I was able to get it very close with my boresight. I’m going to take it to the range tomorrow and thinking it will compare well to my much more expensive Sig and Vortex dots.Update: I’ve taken it to the range a number of times and put perhaps 300 rounds through it. It holds a perfect zero, functions exactly as it should. I’d 100% recommend it as long as your mounting plate has the correct footplate but that’s true with any red dot optic.

Good choice for this old guy
I have an astigmatism so I thought I'd try this Green Dot. It works pretty good. I put about a hundred rounds through it yesterday and none of the screws came loose and with a yellow filter on my glasses, without bifocals, I was able to see the dot quite clearly without any problem. With my Astigmatism, the dot looks like a 1or2 moa, otherwise, starburst was only very slight. Made a BIG difference in my accuracy. I like the shutoff feature because I ride a bumpy road to the range. I did, however, have to adjust it down all the way to get it to reach the bullseye at 15 yds. on my 605Toro(Started out 3" high). Another half turn would have been just right. Cost vs. Value was a good choice. Side load battery is a good feature as well. I'm a picky person on things like this and I'm glad I made the purchase.5/12/2025 update - Went back to the range today and had trouble getting sighted low enough by 3" at 25yds. Ran out of adjustment. After some adjusting and readjusting I got it within 1/2" at 25 yds. Accuracy looked pretty good. Weeks later I took it out to test some velocities and it shoots 4" high at same distance with same ammo lot I used previously. It's still at the limit of adjustment. It doesn't feel loose and screws are still tight. I handle it quite carefully so as not to bump the optic and all my tests are with bench rest. I have a request to Vohatu for explanation.
