First rate smart plugs
I've bought a few different brands over the years and these are the best in my opinion. I won't buy any other brand now. These plugs connect instantly and I mean instantly! I love the features of this plug including the energy monitoring which I've not seen with other smart plugs. The size and shape of these plugs are practical and don't get in the way of adjacent plugs. I've set these up via Smart Life plus Alexa. Both work perfectly. I can control timings and timers where ever I am which is essential.If you want to connect your devices via a smart plug but don't think you are particularly "tech savvy" then these plugs are definitely for you..I didn't even have to set my WiFi to 2.4GHz as I've a Smart Router that recognises what is required. So for me these are a no brainer.I feel these plugs are also safer for high energy items as they have a higher fuse rating of 20amp rather than 13amp.Highly recommended..

GREAT FEATURES BUT..
The Maxesla Smart Plug is compatible with both Alexa and Google Home, making it easy to set up. I decided to order this plug primarily for the convenience of controlling my appliances at home, especially when I am away and have forgotten to turn them off. This is particularly useful for appliances and helps me maintain worry-free. What sets this plug apart from others is its energy usage monitoring feature, which allows me to track my consumption. Additionally, I can use it with high power devices such as kitchen appliances and electric heaters, unlike my other smart plugs that are limited to lower wattage usage.However, it is worth noting that this plug only works with the 2.4 GHz wifi band, which has a longer range but slower data rates, and not with the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands that offer faster speeds.Overall, I recommend this smart plug due to its range of features, power capacity, and compatibility with both Alexa and Google Home. Set-up is a doddle and it works great
When it comes to smart home devices, the process of pairing and connecting these devices is tedious. I’ve not once had a smooth experience, but I’ve encountered awkward set-up processes with devices not being recognised and apps not working as they should. This was until now.Integrating the smart plug into my smart home set-up took mere minutes. I already had the Smart Life app installed on my phone, which I’ve used previously to control some spotlights in the front room. Hence I was able to skip those few steps and head straight to connecting the plug. To do so, you need to add a device by either scanning the QR code on the box and instructions booklet or by selecting the device from the dropdown menu. Switch the plug on and wait for it to connect and you're done.I decided to use the smart plug to control the fan heater in the bedroom, which generally gets a little cold in the mornings and evenings, hence this makes it easier to turn on and off without getting out of bed. The plug also works well with Alexa, and I can turn the fan heater on and off by voice command on the Echo Dot.Overall I am very happy with this device, it’s worked flawlessly, and I’m now looking to get a few more to use around the house.
