This thing is super nice! Its nice to find quality stands that looks understated.
I love this thing so much that I bought one for work and home. The metal is extremely sturdy and very classy/understated. The paint has been very durable and I rally like the fabric that is used to protect the laptop. The hinges take a good amount of force to move, but to me it is a good thing as it is a set and forget type situation. In the few times I have adjusted it, I found there is enough range of motion for good height adjustment. I used this with my personal MacBook Pro and MacBook Air that was issued by my work. It weighs enough that it does not move easily, which just gives a good feel of quality. I have also used this for my iPad and it has a nice pencil holder bump built in as well.

Great find!
This stand is amazing. It’s so sturdy it took some force to adjust it. The design os nice and can actually work off it and not have to worry about it collapsing.

Native Union Desk Laptop Stand - Premium Quality at a Premium Price
Five Months In: Excellent Build, Solid Performance, But Consider the $80 Price Tag I've been using the Native Union Desk Laptop Stand since June 2025 with my MacBook Air 13" M3 in a multi-monitor setup for programming and AI work. This stand has become an essential part of my workflow, elevating my MacBook screen to match my external monitors for seamless work across both my desktop and laptop. Build Quality & Design Native Union delivers on their reputation for premium products. This stand feels and looks the part—solid construction, clean aesthetics that complement a professional desk setup, and thoughtful details throughout. The surface is lined to protect your laptop's finish and prevent sliding, which gives peace of mind when you're working with expensive hardware. It looks genuinely great on my desk and doesn't cheapen the aesthetic like some budget alternatives might. Adjustment & Stability The adjustment mechanism is impressively firm. Once you set your desired height, this stand does not move—no gradual sinking, no accidental shifts, no wobbling when you're typing. That firmness is both a strength and the product's main drawback: adjusting the height requires real effort. If you're a smaller or less physically strong person, you may find the adjustment mechanism challenging. I don't mind the resistance since I set it once and rarely change it, but it's worth noting for those who plan to frequently adjust heights. Ergonomics & Functionality The stand is genuinely adjustable enough to help with posture and neck strain. Bringing my MacBook up to eye level with my external monitors has made multi-tasking between devices much more comfortable. Before this stand, I simply used my MacBook flat on the desk, which meant constantly looking down and straining my neck. The improvement is noticeable during long work sessions. I haven't noticed any temperature changes during use, though I don't actively monitor my MacBook's thermals. The design seems to allow adequate airflow underneath. Portability A pleasant surprise: this stand flattens nicely for travel. I've taken it on multiple trips in my Alpaka Elements Pro backpack without issue. It's not ultralight, but it's packable enough if you want consistent ergonomics on the go. The Value Question Here's the honest assessment: at $80, this is firmly in the premium product category. It's excellent quality, but it's not the most value-conscious purchase. You're paying for Native Union's design, build quality, and brand reputation. If you want a laptop stand that looks premium, feels premium, and performs reliably, this delivers. If you're budget-focused, there are functional alternatives for half the price. Verdict This stand does exactly what it promises with zero compromises on quality. The adjustment mechanism's stiffness is the only real drawback, and that's also what keeps it rock-solid during use. Whether it's worth $80 depends on how much you value aesthetics and build quality alongside functionality. Recommended for: Professionals wanting premium aesthetics and don't mind the price premium Skip if: You need frequent height adjustments or are budget-conscious

Definitely a premium laptop stand
Really impressed with this laptop stand. The build quality is top-notch. It feels super sturdy and doesn’t wobble at all, even with a heavier laptop. It also has a clean, sleek look that fits perfectly on my desk. Definitely worth it if you want something durable and well-made.

Received used product
They sent a used one, in a box where the seal sticker was already cut open. There's crumbs on the feet on the bottom and in between crevices and there are also smudges on the base - I have too much going on right now to return it, but it's just disappointing when companies don't bother to clean their returned products or put them in new packaging. The product itself is sturdy and a great color.

Attractive, sturdy, well-made.
Attractive, sturdy, and well-made [retty much sums it up. I love the green color, but that's subjective. My only minor gripe is that it is difficult to adjust with a laptop on it. But that's a minor quibble, because the firmness of the joints is exactly what makes it so stable once it is correctly adjusted. I used it with a 13 inch MacBook Air, but I'm sure it would work well with any number of comfortably size laptops.

Very sturdy stand, amazing color and overall great quality! One minor flaw is that the bottom edge is too high so you can't open a macbook from the front

these are really sturdy stuff. My intention was to collapse the stand every day after work to get a cleaner desk but you have to apply quite a force to adjust the height so I just ended up with the constant height setting. I still give it five stars, it is much better than having an easily adjustable but unstable stand. On these I can easily type in the password while the other notebook is active on the KVM
