ROCKBROS Bicycle Pannier Rack Mountain Bike Pannier Rack Quick Release with Reflector 24-29 Inch With/without Mudguard Aluminium Alloy

I was on the lookout for a carrier for my 29" wheel mtb, I wanted one that could carry heavy weight (for shopping). The reviews of this carrier were positive so i ordered, delivery was quick. Item arrived with no damage and as described. The only downside that there is with this carrier is the lack of instructions, having said that it is not rocket science, 35 minutes after opening the box, it was fitted to my bike.The carrier itself (though light) seems to be strong and sturdy, depending on what bike you have you will have to do a bit of adjustment on the carrier to get a good fit. There is alot of adjustment available on the carrier. I have also fitted two pannier bags (2 x 30L) onto the carrier.Overall, very happy with the carrier, easy to fit and excellent value for money. clever design as it allows for adaptation for different bikes.

This does the job and seems robust ,and it is not complicated to fit, but is fiddly. Very small parts need holding in exactly the right place to then tighten. You can see what needs doing, but it takes a few attempts to get each fixing lined up, and they're easy to drop. So as long as you don't mind that - and if you have good eyesight and a steady hand, go for it!

Very well made and designed. I have used this clever attachment over difficult terrain with heavy loads. It is as good as the day I bought it a few years ago. Clever mechanism to fit almost any bike.

I wanted a rack to as a minimum attach my D-lock to, but also a bag or panniers.It came with the Allen keys and a little wrench to connect everything up and also a bungee cord which is handy for attaching the lock with. Quality seems fine. Pretty easy to assemble; skills required are to be able to hold a nut whilst tightening an allen key, so you don't need to be a genius of construction. It's not an object of beauty, but bike racks aren't in general. All in all very happy with it, will update should anything occur to affect the rating.

My package came with the instructions missing,which isnt too much of a problem, its simple to figure it out. However there were multiple parts missing, rendering it completely useless, and loose nuts and bolts in the box. One of the clamps for the rod connecting to the frame were missing and there were more nuts than bolts.. if i could give 0 i would.

Good piece of kit.. easy enough to fit but is fiddly and will probs take some adjusting. My only issues are..A.. No fitting instructions.. Absolutely infuriating that one 😡B.. there’s nowhere to clip a light on.. Just the mounting bracket for the reflector..

Was very disappointed to find that it's not compatible with the Rockbros pannier bags. Ideally the w bars would be a bit longer, there's a chance the bags could go into the wheel if you're not careful, but I've not had this happen. Took me about at hour to put together, instructional video was pretty good. Feels pretty sturdy. But you can find the exactly the same product on eBay for less than half the price. Debating returning it but most other pannier racks seem to have the same issue, or lack the mudguard that this has, which I really like.

My frame is not all round tubing. The legs were not quite long enough to reach the round section near the drop-outs. I had to make it longer. I don't understand why the extending section doesn't make full use of the space up inside the tube.The main thing is; we loaded it up with 20 kilos of stuff and rode our bikes for over 300 miles at the weekend. Perfect. Very sturdy.
