High quality reel for a good price. Drag system is great. It came with a small velvet pouch too.

Smooth spinning reel at a great price
I'm a fan of Plusinno gear. I have a number of their telescopic rod/reel combos and use them almost every time I'm out fishing. I needed a new reel--specifically a higher-capacity reel for when I'm inshore fishing for reds and bottom fishing for larger cats--so I ordered a GG4000. After the reel arrived, I spooled it with my standard half mono backing, half braid with a fluoro leader, and I mounted it on one of my stiffer rods as this overall setup is going to be for targeting larger, harder-fighting fish and for punching through thick mats, securing solid topwater hooksets, etc.Spooled as such, the reel performs beautifully! Casts are consistently long and smooth, and the retrieve is also silky smooth via the comfortable crank handle. I haven't yet made an inshore fishing trip--that's scheduled for July--and unfortunately the cats weren't biting the when I took this rig out for bottom fishing last week, but I did manage to get a really nice bass on a topwater. Once it committed, I was able to land the fish with no issues using this reel.For the asking price, this is an absolutely great reel. I'll likely order a few of the smaller capacity versions as I need to replace my other spinning reels in the future.

Amazing Value for the Money
Frankly, I was astonished by this reel. I needed a reel to go with a collapsible rod to stow in my center console. I mostly fly fish, but on occasion want a spinning rig on hand. I didn't want to spend much, so this seemed like a natural fit. I figured it would be total throwaway, but I was wrong. The retrieve is silky smooth, the fit and finish are solid, and the drag is smooth and has plenty of holding power. I switched it to a right hand retrieve and am set. I just got back from the beach where I gave it a good workout and it performed like a reel literally 10 times the price. If this were a $100 reel I would give it four stars as it is slightly heavier than reels using more light weight materials. But I didn't pay $100, I paid $20. Five stars all the way - this is easily an everyday reel that will not disappoint.
