Works great!!
Bought this to bundle gaming rules and scenarios. (and maybe grade school projects) It's a bit of a pull to punch through 20 pages, but it did just fine, ditto with two of the clear plastic covers. One caveat is that the pullout margin depth gauge - there ARE three clicks to it, but they don't line up with the color-coded marks. The 6mm label never pulled out far enough to actually see, so it took a bit of careful fiddling, but I was able to feel each of the three points by being careful. The spiral winder again took a couple of practice tries - hold everything tightly together, and keep the spiral lightly pressed to the bottom where the roller and body of the machine meet. I had a couple of wires get sucked into the machine, and the spiral didn't always make it through both sides of the packet. For the price, this was an absolute steal! ^_^

Solidly made, but can only punch 20 pages
I admit this is the first spiral binder that I’ve used, so I didn’t realize how laborious these are. I have a bunch of old financial documents which need to be archived. All of the documents are uniform sized, but difficult for me to scan because I don’t have a double-sided scanner. So I figured I’ll bind them into folders instead.This Spiral Binding Machine is a complete kit which comes with everything one needs to get started. The punch has an electric roller built-in to the back, to rapidly install the spiral bindings. The machine is very heavy because each individual hole punch can be deactivated by sliding that punch out, so the machine has many moving parts. But the parts all fit together well. Once I adjusted the margin guide, it was ready to use.Now, here is the disappointing part. Even though it is able to bind 500 sheets by using the correct sized spiral, the machine can only punch 20 sheets at a time. So even while using the small binding coils which came with it, each folder requires me to separate the documents into 3 stacks for punching. Once the documents and covers are punched the roller device can apply the spiral pretty quickly, only if all of the holes are lined-up correctly.

didn't come with a power cord or source
Can't use because no power source. Getting ready to send it back. For the price I paid it should of came with everything. Now I have to figure out my end of week deadline.
