KISSBrush-On Gel Nail Kit

So much cheaper than a salon manicure, and every bit as pretty! I'm allergic to regular gel, so this is perfect. It took some trial and error to be able to do it without getting on my fingers, but it's so easy to use. Sometimes the brush on the glue gets hard if your activator step isn't dry enough before you add the final coat, but it comes with an extra brush, which is also amazing. There's plenty of the activator and brush cleaner, so when I run out of the glue, I just buy brush on nail glue (crazy glue), and get pretty much the same result. It's a little thinner than the included glue, butit works great. I buy extra tips as well because it only comes with enough for 2-4 sets (if you file some that don't quite fit, you can use more). I love these, and buy them on a regular basis. P.S. Don't mind the weird looking middle finger in the pic, I was wearing a big ring and edited it out, lol. Also, I filed the tips into a different shape. They are quite square as is, and I prefer more of a "squoval".

I was skeptical of such an inexpensive product and have had my names professionally done for years as well as trying dip nails. While I loved the look of the dip nails, it takes forever to do them! This is a great alternative. There is a bit of a learning curve to get them to look really good, but this is my FIRST attempt. I was very pleased with the result. They feel like acrylic nails and seem very strong.Cons: The only negative I can say is there are only enough nail tips of each the French tip and regular to do one full set each. I haven’t seen that KISS is offering extra tips to purchase so I’ll just buy regular tips and use an acrylic nail clipper to size them the way I want. I did this anyway with the KISS tips because while they are considered ‘short’ they weren’t quite short enough for me.I will update when I’ve worn them for awhile.Let me preface by saying that if you follow the instructions to the LETTER, you will get an awesome result. It’s REALLY important to follow these steps:1. Use the glue brush ONLY to put on the tips. Don’t put it in the cleaning liquid.2. Make sure you press the sides of the tip down with an orange stick to really set them. To make a seamless line, is the cleaner brush with a little cleaner and brush it across the seam. (I didn’t see that instruction until I’d done one hand. I went back and do it on the hand I’d already done and then continued to do it on the next hand. Makes a huge difference in the seam line.)3. Use the CLEANER brush to apply the top gel glue and activator.4. Probably the MOST important step is that you need to put the brush in the cleaner EVERY time you dip it in either the gel glue or the activator. Otherwise you will cross contaminate the product and the brush will get stiff and unusable.5. Like this: Using the CLEANER brush, dip in gel glue and brush entire nail. Dip the same brush in the cleaner and wipe off the product on a clean paper towel. Dip the same brush in the activator, and then dip it into the cleaner and wipe on the paper towel. You do 2 sets of glue and activator.6. The last step is to use ONLY the gel glue and paint the entire nail. This will set the nail and make it hard. The gel will self level. Once it’s set, use a fine file to file the edges so they blend better.7. I had plenty of product and will most likely be able to get another 3 sets out of it.8. Once the gel had set, I used a naked pink over the top (Strawberry Scone from Olive and June polishes) and then a fast drying gel top coat (Seche Vite’ Dry Fast Top Coat.) This is my absolute favorite top coat because it dries even a tacky nail super fast and is hard like acrylic and super shiny.

These are the best nails ever and so difficult to buy in stores as they sell out so fast, I think they are easy to apply and look so natural. I’m a long term nail biter and I mean disgustingly short nails, but if I use the full fake nails I can grow them to a length just long enough and no more to use the tips. Meine Freundin hat es direkt ausprobiert und statt 3 Stunden oder länger für Gelnägel zu brauchen, hat sie es in einer halben Stunde mit dem Kiss kit geschafft. Sehr zu empfehlen für alle die keine Ewigkeit im Nagelstudio verbringen wollen:)

It is a great starter kit. Enough to do a couple of sets to see if you can do them. I am now buying larger volumes of the product and many more nail tips. I try to have one of these kits in stock though for a quickie nail when needed.
