I bought this to replace a similar product. It's very easy to use - you just plug it into the output from a vcr etc and use quicktime player to convert the video input to a file, but unlike other similar video grabbers with bundled software, you have no control over resolution, frame rate etc. I tried using it with videoglide software instead of quicktime but the software didn't recognise the device. I've had one serious problem - when recording a vhs tape, occasionally something happens with the way the device interprets the horizontal hold, and you end up with a wobbly picture. It's intermittent, but annoying when it happens.

OK, works with windows 10 but won't allow me to digitise old videos I already own. This and processing my old camcorder tapes was my reason for purchasing. My old video capture device allowed copying of my video collection but will not work with windows 10. I doubt it's even possible to buy videos now so I guess keep changing the hardware is an attempt to sell old content as DVD and blue ray format products. Bit of a rip off.

Works on my 2009 Macbook pro. It is supposed to but I wasn't convinced it would.

Included software is not very friendly, some times it works, sometimes it doesn't ; one star is gone for this. The hardware is not recognisable by other video capturing applications like, iMovei, Adobe premier, Final cut, etc.; another star is gone for this.

Product was delivered in time and I wasted no time in getting my VHS recorder set up on my desktop which is running Windows 7 - so I haven't tried it on Windows 10. The software loaded ok, although I have struggled to find any online documentation as I believe the software has been superseded by a later version.However, it is straight forward to use and I managed to get the VHS tapes of my daughter's on to the hard disc, and then cut to dvd. Interestingly, the dvds played perfectly well on our players are home, bu when I took them to my daughter's only one of her more modern devices would play them. I still need to look into why.

Questo dispositivo fa il suo dovere, e in maniera abbastanza semplice. Rispetto a molti altri video grabber, questo in particolare non necessita di installare alcun software e funziona subito in plug-and-play (almeno sul Mac). Questa è una caratteristica per me fondamentale perché spesso i software forniti sono scritti male, poco stabili, obsoleti o addirittura non compatibili con le ultime versioni dei sistemi operativi.Detto questo devo segnalare però che la qualità video è abbastanza scarsa. Ho confrontato il video importato, visualizzandolo sullo schermo Retina del mio Mac, con l'ouput diretto su un televisore Sony Trinitron e la differenza si nota. L'immagine importata è più sbiadita, i colori sono meno vividi e globalmente meno definita.Non che mi aspettassi grandi cose per il prezzo, ma considerando che col passare degli anni sarà sempre più difficile trovare lettori VHS e altri formati analogici, ho preferito restituire il prodotto ed investire su un grabber di qualità maggiore, come quello di BlackMagic.

Leider - trotz "vorschriftsgemäßer" (nach User-Manual im Faltblatt) Einrichtung mittels mitgelieferter Programm- und Treiber-CD-ROM - kommt kein Signal vom Video-Recorder über das mitgelieferte Kabel zum Laptop. Ich wollte mit diesem Kabel eigentlich alte VHS-Video-Cassetten auf den PC überspielen und diese dann auf DVDs brennen. Denn kombinierte VHS- und DVD-Abspielgeräte wie mein "Philips DVD755 VR / DVD-Video-VCR-Combi ShowView" gibt es kaum noch zu kaufen, bzw., sind sündhaft teuer, wie ich auf Amazon festgestellt hatte. Denn mein Gerät zeigt mittlerweile schon "altersbedingte" Ausfallerscheinungen. Ich werde das Kabel leider wieder zurückschicken!

L'ho acquistato con un pò di scettiscismo non credevo che funzionasse...bene come invece ha poi dimostrato, così da poter sfruttarlo per fare i riversamenti da ogni fonte video che possa essere collegato con i cavetti colorati rosso, bianco e giallo. Facile e intuibile il software, che io uso per mac, cosa chiedere di più?

No funciona con el CD de instalación en mi PC con Windows XP, y aunq no descarto algún problema de configuración (q los dudo), tampoco puedo usar la opción de descarga de links q indican las instrucciones, puesto q no existen !!. Tb tengo un Mac y no vienen para ninguno de los dos sistemas pues ¡¡ la web está en contrucción !!. Tb posee un botón el aparato del cual no se dice nada ni hace nada...Lo lamentablemente es q pregunto al fabricante y me dice q lea las instrucciones..... Deberían ser profesionales y tener la web funcionando, unas instrucciones completas y sobretodo productos de calidad !!Decepción total

Funziona bene in COMPOSITO, con l'ingresso in S-VIDEO che dovrebbe essere migliore invece si creano su tutta l'immagine delle virgole di circa 2 mm. Il software in dotazione è molto limitato, per correggere le immagini e le composizioni consiglio l'utilizzo di un software più completo.

Ni siquiera lo detecta, una pérdida de tiempo y dinero. No aconsejo su compra en absoluto, hay otras opciones mejores

Articolo inutilizzabile in quanto il CD di installazione con i driver è arrivato danneggiato e on line non si trova da nessuna parte .

Ce convertisseur ne sert absolument à rien, normalement il suffit de le brancher et quicktime doit fonctionner, mais rien ne sort.En fait, un achat inutile

j'ai rentrer le numéro de série indiquer sur la boite mais rien a faire il n'en veut pas !!!!! et pourtant c'est le seul qu'il y ai sur l'emballagedonc je ne peut enregistrer de dix minutes de film a chaque fois et avec le logo de la société en trame.donc inutile de l'acheter.!!!

Répond aux attentes sans trop de difficultées.facile d emploi après quelques essai.Prevoir un peu de mémoire sur l ordi.Apres tout roule.
