Novelty and quality.
As with most Swiss chocolate, this bar is smooth, mellow and milky without being overly rich. Lightly sweet without being cloying or sickly. Pleasant mouthfeel and melt. The huge size makes it a real conversation piece and a great gift. The blue paper wrapper and waxed paper underneath give it a charming traditional look, as do the extra large chunks it breaks up into. It reminds me of chocolate ration wrappers during WW2. It's fairly standard milk chocolate, not a rare single-estate cacao taste sensation, but all the other points make it worth the price, in my opinion.
