Once I finally got this hammock assembled, I loved it. It's very comfortable, and it's nice that it comes with a pillow. But while I was assembling this, I wasn't 100% sure it would be possible to fully assemble it. It comes with everything you need to hang it. I had existing hooks on two trees from a previous hammock, so I was able to use those -- but it does come with trees straps to wrap around trees and hang from them. What caused the biggest problem are the spreader bars that fit into pockets on either side of the hammock. It is nearly impossible to get the end into the pocket at the edge of the hammock. There's a little tab at one end and you grab that tab and use brute force to force the pole into the pocket. Once I finally got the first pole in and knew what I had to do, the other side was easier, but still unreasonable. This step was poorly thought out. Even worse, this hammock comes with no instructions so you just have to guess what you’re supposed to do. I didn't even know what the tree straps were for or how to use them until I looked up the listing to find out that they were called "tree straps" and then found a YouTube video that shows you how to use them. This hammock comes with a travel bag, but there's no way I'm ever taking those poles out of the end pockets again - so I am certainly not going to disassemble this to bring it anywhere. Fortunately, I bought it for my backyard, and that's where it's staying. Bottom line, assembly is extremely annoying and frustrating, but once it's together and hung, I love it. It's really comfortable. However, I would not feel comfortable putting two people on this. Balancing one person is already a skill. We'll take turns.

This hammock was easily set up by a single middle aged woman with some physical limitations. It was much more comfortable than anticipated. The material is similar to a vinyl type material to make it more weather resistant which is why there was surprise at its comfort level. When it's being unpackaged it doesn't look like a material that is going to be the least bit comfortable. The spreader bars work well to hold it open and flat. So far, only one person has used it so I can't speak to how easy it is for people to get on and off with a companion but it has afforded the one person plenty of space to take that afternoon hammock nap. The pillow, unfortunately, is not its best feature. You might want to take your own pillow out with you for that nap.

We have 2 trees in the backyard. I made the executive decision (ie I didn't ask my husband) to get a hammock. I've always wanted one, and the space just begs for it.After hebby saw it, he wasn't really happy about it. I told him I'd put it together, but we both knew that wasn't going to go well. And it didn't. I've never assembled one before and it didn't come with instructions. I figured out where the poles go, but getting them in was a nightmare. You have to really brute force it in, and apparently I don't have that much brute. Fortunately, hubby saw the struggle and saved me. he didn't even do the "I told you so" look. He got it put together pretty quick.I like it a lot. It is nice and wide and fun to swing in. Then we got snow, so I guess I'll have to wait. But it's going to be great in the summer ;)

My dad and I ventured into my backyard this weekend to find a place to install this hammock. It didn't come with any instructions, so we had to find a YouTube video to figure out how to hang it. We ended up finding a couple of trees that were a good distance apart and we used the nylon straps and the caribeaners to get it set up. We found it extremely difficult to insert the support poles on either side of the hammock. We were able to get one support pole in, and then my dad ended up having to cut some threads on the pocket insert for the support pole to be able to squeeze in. Once assembled and hung, I found the hammock to be quite comfortable and sturdy. I think the pillow that comes with the hammock is useless and will probably purchase a replacement pillow. Overall, it's a comfortable hammock, it looks great, I just wish it had come with instructions on how to hang it so we didn't spend 30-40 min trying to get it set up.
