Returned this one a few days later.
Our manual White & Rogers had bit the dist after 2 years. We decided to try this one, since that one was only 2 years old. A few days after we installed the Lux thermostat, we ordered a different brand. It has a 6 degree swing with no way to adjust it. Reading the actual temperature is difficult. The air conditioner was constantly running, it never seem to catch up. The new one we switched to is working much better.

Simple little thermostat
This thermostat functions just as it should. Easy to use super easy to install. do NOT run the c wire to the c connection if your c wire is a constant power wire blows fuses.

Avoid the arguments about the temp of the house
Got tired of the program-based thermostats reverting to something we didn't want. Set this and forget it, or jack up the heat a couple of degrees to take the chill off, then turn it back down for the night. Less complication in our lives is the goal.

Not the best for me.
Supposedly the anticipator is adjustable, but cannot make the thermostat come on more often to heat more evenly. The temperature can dip 5 - 6 degrees before it cycles again, experiencing too cool, too hot cycles. Using the Lux to run a manufactured home with Coleman Evcon furnace.

thermostat
I choose this thermostat because it met my needs, inexpensive, easy to use, and worked with the equipment I had. I would recommend it for those who do not want programmable complex thermostats.

Hard to say...
Just got married and moved into our first apartment. The unit we have is the T10-1143. The only complaint we have was something happened that wouldnt let the fan run on auto...instead it stayed on ALL THE TIME, unless the heat was turned off. It cost us about $90 in elevated power bills before we realized what was happening and had it fixed. Not sure how it compares to a digital unit, but would be very interested to find out.
