Worth the money!
I cannot find this product anywhere in the stores at all. Not this cheap either, most regular 5 lb. bags are white and cost around $10 or less. Never had a bad batch of rice with this product either, always comes out nice and fluffy. So thankful to have found this here since its a family favorite.

Surprisingly good rice
I hadn't had Uncle Ben's rice in ages. My go to was Nishiki. But they were out of stock. So I reluctantly bought Uncle Ben's.It was really good! It has a different feel than Nishiki. Uncle Ben's is less sticky. They recommend you don't wash it because they add vitamins. I add a dry soup mix and some dried veg and voila, a great side dish!

Not very happy with the texture
Overall it is good product. Brown rice is better than white rice. However, I prefer the texture of Uncle Ben’s parboiled rice. Good price

Grown in USA.
Most of the brown rice I used to use came from Argentina and how old it was and how it had been stored, was always a concern. After some research, on paper, Ben's Brown Rice looked good. It is parboiled, so no need to rinse it. Arsenic, debris, insects, etc., is why rinsing is needed. Since Ben's is grown in the USA, there is less concern about how it has been stored and transported. So that left taste, texture. It cooks fine in a rice cooker and texture and taste are good. It seems a bit "smoother" than other brown rice I have used, but that could be my imagination. After going through four five pound bags, quality, freshness, lack of debris is good and consistent. Cost against other USA grown rice very good. Now my preferred brown rice.

Very good.
I live on a island in Puerto Rico. And the store does not carry it anymore. Many people here like white rice. So the store stopped carrying brown rice. So I have to order It here on Amazon which is fine.
