Protein-Packed and Surprisingly Tasty
was shocked by how good this tastes for a high-protein meal option. The cheese sauce is rich, and the pasta has a satisfying bite. Ideal for post-workout meals or a healthier twist on a comfort classic.

Creamy and Healthy
This is delicious and a good value for the price. I really like that it has 20 grams of protein, especially since I'm a vegetarian. I would have given it five stars if the pasta had been made with a veggie like chickpeas or lentils, but I do like that it has an added pea protein.

Bland and Flavorless
Chalky and flavorless! Absolutely does NOT have an CHEESE flavor! Bland as heck. Can’t return! Will donate to food bank.

Edible , expensive
Taste to me was typical high protein product ....not good . I added some sharp or smoked cheese and it's waaaaay better . Going to stick with protein drinks , faster to get those past the taste buds !

Good mac and cheese
Overall, I like this mac and cheese. I found it to be a good tasting product, similar to the other blue box variety. What I didn't like about this mac and cheese was its name and claim to be better for you. As a supposed healthier product, I expected to find nutrition facts and ingredients that were different from store brand generic pasta. This was not the case. There is essentially nothing that sets this macaroni and cheese apart from the kind that is available in your local grocery store. The boxes themselves contain a very small serving size, one that barely filled an 11-year-old for lunch, even when surveying the entire box. With that said, it is still yummy but I would not be paying a premium price for this product when it is no difference in taste from the store brand kind and no different nutritionally from other brands.

Improvement on regular mac & cheese
The media could not be loaded. I made this exactly as directed, using unsalted butter and I didn't salt the pasta water. Since I prefer mac & cheese to be on the salty side, I did sprinkle some seasoned salt as well as some freshly ground black pepper on top of it after doing the initial taste test. After doing that it's much more like any regular mac & cheese that you know in love, especially if your salt blend contains paprika.Definitely tastes cheesy, although you can also taste the whey, Which supplies some of the protein.Another way that it gets an extra boost of protein, is pea protein isolate in the macaroni itself. I could not taste the difference in the plain pasta.Something else to love is the fact that it does not have any preservatives or coloring.I think this is a fantastic option that is more 'Natural' And with fewer ingredients then the supermarket type.Very highly recommended.

Perhaps this falls under no pain no gain
This is at best OK Mac and cheese. I prepared as directed, giving the noodles a little longer than the suggest 12 minutes to let them soften. The first knock against it is that it needs milk and butter which makes it too much work for the teens. The second knock is that it just doesn't taste that great. It is edible, and even makes it to good with the right barbecue sauce, but it is not enjoyable straight up. The cheese does seem creamy although a little chalky in the way that protein shakes are sometimes chalky. Not sure I can recommend it, but if you want the protein, a little BBQ sauce makes it good.
