Kept me on the edge of my seat….
Loved the book. Fascinating, well thought out characters and storylines…I couldn’t wait to turn the page to see what happened next! The descriptions of the places, foods, drinks and people made me feel I was right there with them….especially the Bay Area locales, spot on. The storyline was entertaining throughout, never slowed down, I wanted more of it all.Do yourself a favor, read it!A sequel please…..

Cool City….great story!
John Machado methodically introduces the characters in this great political mystery. After doing so the book develops a swift pace and is hard to put down. Who better to choose San Francisco as his setting than someone familiar. The homework done is apparent don’t miss out on this one, awesome read!

Excellent Read!!
Just finished reading Bronze Jazz. Captivating story that keeps you engaged and eager to know what happens next. I enjoyed walking through the streets of San Francisco through the eyes of the author pin pointing familiar sites. The character build up had me feeling like I knew them. Would definitely recommend this read! Can’t wait for the next release..

Mystery,politics and subtle humor -- a fun read
This is a fast-paced mystery with tinges of politics, humor and stunning twists and turns. The writer keeps you hooked until the last period is registered on the final page. It is written with precision, wasting none of the reader’s time. Words are chosen carefully, and sentences are written without superfluous content. This is a fun and enjoyable read.

A visual treat for the imagination
The first chapter captures the reader and does not let up. The well-developed plot and characters create a visual in the imagination of the reader putting the reader in the middle of the action. The city is one more character, and the reader feels as though they have been there even if they have not. This book does not disappoint.
