Hard Ketones Dr. Up Unsweetened (aka NASTY) | 17g Ketohol | 12 Pack, 8.4 Oz Cans

I've been looking for an alcohol alternative, and I'm really enjoying Hard Ketones Dr. Up. I ordered this one because it has no sweeteners (I don't like stevia, and am not sure if sucralose is keto friendly).I tried a small amount without Dr.ing it and it's not the worst thing I've tasted, but I wouldn't make it through a can if I drank it straight - it's certainly not enjoyable (tasted like drinking some kind of chemical astringent perhaps). However, I barely taste it by mixing it with a can of ginger beer and lime juice. But I know taste varies from person to person.I definitely feel a bit buzzed after 2 to 3 cans, and while it's a little different than alcohol, I'm pleased with it. If it keeps me away from alcohol, I'll be ecstatic with it.I'll update as I go, but so far I get to feel good without guilt and no hangover. Grateful!

Overpriced, tastes horrible, and no buzz.

Very strong fake sugar taste. Got almost no buzz from it. Followed their instructions too....Drink on an empty stomach and no more than 2 a day. I tried Hiyo a few days before and that one actually gave a nice relaxing buzz they call "The Float" odd description but it does work and doesn't taste like a chemical concoction. They actually use stevia as the sweetner but that still tastes awful. I will give them credit....they gave me a full refund. It doesn't always work on everyone. Don't expect this to be something it isn't. I have really appreciated it as an alternative adult beverage, but I wouldn't say I ENJOY it as beverage. I don't see that ever happening.SO tried it straight from the can, having missed the part where you are not supposed to use it alone but Dr IT Up in a cocktail of your own making.It's bitter, which is a flavor I don't mind, so using some Tonic Syrup and lots of lemon/lime makes it palatable enough for me but if you don't even like a G & T you might be hard pressed to hide it.I don't think the product should be panned for this, rather expectations should be reasonably set, because it occupies an important niche that I think has growing importance.If I want to be sharp the next day but still join in a relaxed state with my friends, this will do that.I am hopeful that with time and more of a market for it it will improve a bit in taste and bring the price down, hence the 4 instead of 5 stars.

Amazing! Love how it helps me relax without actual alcohol. Great customer service when I have questions. If you want that relaxed buzz feel, this is definitely the way to go!!! And the taste is a bit acquired but def worth it!!!!

Taste was terrible. Bought the strawberry and it was barely drinkable. Could not drink more than one so no idea if it gives you a buzz. The horrible chemical taste is a complete bar.

These are almost perfect for an alcohol substitute, I have really appreciated being able to have something in the evenings that is non alcoholic and it gives you a nice feeling of relaxing and just enjoying the time. I drink one or two, it is expensive but so is alcohol and I’d rather have these any day. The taste varies on what you order but it’s like having a cocktail. Not the best, but worth the effect. Antidepressants have not affected the ability to feel a buzz for me. They’re worth a try if you are over alcohol and want a sub.

DO NOT LET THE NAME FOOL YOU.lol not tasty with Dr.Pepper. I realized that this version is the bartender base to mix with WAY TOO late. the Mule Version with lime and a spritzer is THE BEST alternative I've ever tried but this version is absolutely terrible. maybe I would think differently if I mixed it with various juices.
