This guitar is excellent really well made and looks stylish. Works perfectly with rock band 4 and was a pure nostalgia trip as soon as I loaded up the game. I've not played in years but after a few song muscle memory kicked in and I was hitting the notes with ease. I'm so glad that in 2025 that I can now play a game I've been fond of fond of for many years. Music rythem games did fall out fashion for a while but if anything is going to bring them back they need a guitar like this. Love the fact it's silent when strumming so I can play late into the night without annoying anyone else it the house. All I can say is if you have been looking to relive the good old days of your youth rocking out then this is the controller to get. 100% worth every penny.

Brilliant product, works great on Fortnite Main Stage & Rockband 4.

Already knew these were going to be quality playing rockband with the wife every now and again (she's not an avid gamer but found she really enjoys rockband) Only issue I have found is that the analogue stick doesn't seem to do anything. Dpad and everything else is fine. Two sets of frets on the necks for fatter or thinner fingers works well just don't understand the point as the analogue doesn't work on any of them strangely. A bit spenny value for money wise but this is the best quality I've seen in my quest for a new guitar to play with

I bought this specifically to play Clone Hero and whilst you are required to install additional software (that being RB4InstruementMapper and ViGEmBus) for this peripheral to work, they are easy to use and requires no configuration. The Clone Hero wiki provides a simple and easy to follow guide. Between connecting the Riffmaster to my PC, downloading the software and selecting the emulation mode, the whole process took less than five minutes and I was ready to play. The price is a bit on the high end, hence the 4 stars, I do not think I would have paid the full price for this but as this is my first guitar controller I have nothing to compare it to. The guitar itself has the perfect weight, controls feel responsive, and I've yet to have any connection issues. Overall I'm very satisfied with the product.

I picked up the PDP Riffmaster Wireless Guitar Controller for my Xbox Series X, and it’s been awesome for playing Rock Band 4 and Fortnite Festival. Comfortable design — lightweight, fits well in the hands, and the foldable neck makes it easy to store. Analog stick and audio jack — perfect for volume control and private listening during gameplay. Responsive buttons and strum bar — makes playing smooth and fun. What could be better: The tilt sensor for activating Overdrive takes some getting used to. Button layout is similar to Rock Band 4, so there might be a short learning curve if you’re used to other controllers. Overall, this is the best wireless guitar controller I’ve used on Xbox — solid build, great battery life, and excellent gameplay. Highly recommend for rhythm game fans!

I had been waiting for a long time to be able to play Rock Band with a guitar controller again. After my last guitar controller stopped working I searched around for a new one but couldn’t find any. I only came across secondhand ones and if I did see a new one it was way too expensive. So thank you for making a new batch of these guitar controllers again so some of us can enjoy playing rock band again like we did back in the day. It was refreshing and exciting to be rocking out again. It is good value for money and most importantly is brand new! As far as compatibility goes though, I think this guitar controller will only work with Rock Band 4 and the Fortnite Festival, but maybe there are ways around that to use it for other rhythm games, but so far I’ve had this for about a year now and it’s still working okay. Let’s hope it continues to do so!

Fantastic piece of kit, just requires a couple of extra steps for Clone Hero on pc. For those looking to grab one for the same reason: Google the Rock Band 4 compatibility app, and download the VigEmBus drivers. Ensure that you uninstall Microsoft GameInput from your apps in settings, as it conflicts, and disable the GameInput Redis in services.msc Then you're good to go, no issues otherwise. Happy clone hero-ing!

Doesn't work on pc with clone hero. Tried everything. Including all reddit and chat gpt instructions. Installing programs, drivers. Rcb4input whatever. Doesn't work. Don't bother.

Gros joueurs de guitar hero et rock band, j'ai construit une borne arcade sous winPE avec clone hero et YARG, et je recherchais une guitar fiable pour aller avec le tout. Le soucis, peu de choix a l'heure actuelle, une seul guitar vraiment fiable mais hors de prix et d'occasion la fender sans fil de rockband. J'ai eu vent de cette guitare qui avais de bon retour, avec un prix un peu élevé pour un jouet plastique mais fiable pour jouer en difficulté expert. A aujourd'hui je confirme les échos que j'avais eu. Plug and play, de bonne factures, si je devais être tatillon je dirais que la gâchette de gratte devrais être plus dur comme les guitare de guitar hero 2 et 3, on l'on ressentais vraiment la gratte. Dans tout les cas superbe produit

The guitar does not connect to its dongle. Tried every possible way official and through reddit to get it to connect to Xbox or PC.

PCのgitadora（コナステ版）のギターフリークスで動作確認済み。Xbox版です。 ギターフリークスは本コントローラーに公式に対応してるわけではありませんが、ドライバーをインストールすれば認識しました。 ワイヤレスなのですが遅延は感じません。ギターを倒す動作が若干シビアで、かなり立てないといけませんが、不満はそれぐらいかな？ キーもピックもかなりやりやすいですし、音楽ゲームで使えるレベルに遅延の少ないワイヤレスはいいですよ。 公式専用コントローラーやギタラーという類似商品はいずれも4万円、かつ品切れ中ですので、実質現在選択できる唯一無二のものです。それが1万円とはいい買い物でした！

Fine, it works as intended. Tilt doesnt work in fortnite festival. Barely works in Clone hero. Buttons are nice to press.
