This is a decent product for a stainless steel option that serves well for tadka or small-batch frying. However it's not very sturdy or self-supporting on its own when placed on the burner.

I purchased this tadka pan from Amazon recently, and I’m very disappointed. On the very first use, as the pan started heating, it suddenly made a loud, alarming sound. It seemed like something from the handle or a screw inside the pan reacted to the heat. A thick metal part even bulged out, which was extremely dangerous and scary.While the bowl looks sturdy and of good quality at first glance, the actual usage proves otherwise. This product is definitely not safe to use, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It feels like cheap build quality, especially for a kitchen item that comes in direct contact with heat.Please look into this issue seriously as it could lead to injury or a fire hazard.
