T4S toneMatch Mixer

Great product

My T1 on my original L1 model 2 developed volume problems. I ordered a T 4s to see if it was the mixer or the power stand. I didn't up grade the T 4, just plugged it in. It blew me away. I have been a Bose musician since I could afford to be 🤣. This mixer is a vast improvement over the T1. If you need one I highly recommend it. Used with the appropriate tower its great. Only con is its made in China. However upgrading this created a problem. Thru amazon and Bose the reps became as confused as I was trying to load the upgrade to a macbook pro. Going thru bose they advised me to return to amazon and they would send me a new version complete with the new software upgrade. For 20% off for my trouble. They didnt. IT was a new 2018 and this is 2024. And the new Bose rep couldn't figure out my problem also. I was on the verge of sending it back when somehow I got it dowloaded and upgraded. I honestly dont know how. Now that it’s upgraded it has better reverb. Thats about all I noticed. Still a 5 star mixer imho. Customer service not so much versed on Macbooks but very understanding. and thanks for the discount. now that I’ve had it a short wile I have issues with it flashing on the screen and Turing off. The unit was very warm. I let it cool a bit and restarted it same thing. I reset it to factory setting and ran a new power lead from the L1 model 2 and its staying on. However I haven’t used it a long time yet. I’m considering running a small fan to it. Anyone with suggestions please reply. I carry a T1 for emergencies during a gig. So we’ll see what happens at my next gig. It makes me apprehensive for an expensive mixer. Grrrr.

Love this unit. It gives me the ability to add more instruments and configure sound effects for each one. Super easy to use and set up.

This is a nice little mixer. The ToneMatch presets are great for a quick and simple setup. I’ve used mine in stereo configuration with a pair of S1 Pro+ speakers, as well as with an L1 Pro16 to good effect. It connects to the speakers with an ethernet cable, which powers it from the L1 speaker. With the S1’s I need to use a Bose proprietary cable for power, and use the units output channels with XLR to TRS cables. Both configurations work fine, but the simpler connection the the L1 is the better choice. For the S1’s it works okay, but there are better mixers at much better price points that will work just fine. My one criticism (and the reason for four stars) is that using channel 2 with a microphone produces a faint hiss - not noticeable to my audience, but very noticeable to me and others onstage. Its a minor annoyance - and at this price point I might expect better.

I've bought this for my Karaoke system, but boy, the sound quality coming out of this is amazing. It's a learning curve how to use it, but once you dial in all of the settings. nothing can compare. My first unit was stolen by my friend because he loved the unit so much that he wrote me a check for it. This is my 2nd unit. I was impressed with Bose that you can save your settings and reload it later.

I love this mixer, makes everything easy, gives you perfect sound with very little effort. Very well designed

J’adore ce mixeur numérique je l’ai installé avec mon Bose L1 pro 8 idéal pour faire des spectacles dans de petites salles. Pas trop gros à transporter et installer sur un pied de caméra à la portée de mains. Effets et tunematch extra
