Encyclopedic in scope
I never thought I could read a 500 page book of such scholarship and scope but I did! It is informative fascinating stimulating and thought provoking. ( I thought I ate a very healthy Mediterranean type diet but clearly I am too reliant on farmed fish.) I recommend that the next edition contains Chapter summaries for memory challenged old guys like me. I will try to persuade my Family Physician to read it.

Weird smell
The cover was printed “ for sale on Indian sub-continent only” … the paper is very cheap and coarse and has an odor of chemicals … unpleasant to handleI listened to the audiobook and enjoyed immensely

Everything you ever wanted to know about food. What did I take from it? I have changed my eating to try and include at least 32 different vegetables and fruits a week. VERY informative.

Things are seldom what they seem: Skim milk masquerades as cream.Find out more by reading this book on the lurking dangers in many foods thought to be healthy.

All you need to know about food and how to keep healthy
Fabulous informative and an easy read in not too complex language.Has made me realise some parts of my diet are pretty good health wise & reinforces changes made. However there are still a few things need changing. Of course it depends on how far you want to go.Shame I didn’t have this 30 years ago.Highly recommend if you have an eye on staying healthy in your mature years. It’s never too late to start.
