The pants are thick, of good quality, and have plenty of pockets which I need.

I like these pants; I've previously tried some of the no-name "tactical" pants, and they were very thin and very, very small. Medium meant Chinese medium, and they didn't fit my larger American rear, and while it seemed waterproof it was too thin to wear in the cold weather I'd bought them for. These pants are not those, and these ones fit well and are much warmer.They are well-sewn and sturdy, the exterior material is tear resistant (but I wouldn't take a knife to it), and the interior is fleece-lined and warm. They're not especially quiet, but the rubbing makes a noise kind of like children's snow pants. It's not very loud but definitely not quiet. Very suitable for hiking and walking on cold mornings.I thought I might have to wear a thermal base layer with them, but I've been fine so far down to 18 degrees, and I definitely didn't want another layer on my legs while I was moving. If you're sitting still or not moving maybe you'd need something extra, but with exertion they are plenty warm. The zips are YKK and zip smoothly and haven't gotten stuck, the pockets are plenty and well placed, and importantly (to me) the knees are sewn to allow easy squatting and climbing - the articulation seam really helps to make the pants very functional.I like these pants and I think they are a bargain for the price. Assuming they hold up more than a couple of seasons, I'm well satisfied and I wouldn't hesitate to buy a replacement pair.

I got the largest waist they had , 38" , fully expecting them to be snug and hoping not so snug I couldn't wear them for long hours .When I opened the package to try them on the legs were comfortably loose and as I slid them up my legs I fully expected the comfort to end somewhere around my hips . They did not . They keep sliding up and they were actually slightly loose . Wear a belt loose .Every other pair of pants like these I've ever worn were just pants of said size with lining added , making them snug at best . These are actually the size they are supposed to be . The stitching is very clean , not a loose one to be found .The pockets are placed nicely and large without being baggy and cumbersome . Did I mention they are lounge pants comfortable ?If I had a complaint , which I don't , or would be they are too warm to wear on days where it isn't cold.

Have used then for light snow removal and walking the dog on windy Abd snowy days.

These are so thin and lightweight, they feel like they're parachute material. They're not very quiet fabric either. I'm not sure I'd use these for hunting, unless I was in the African savannah and it was 110 degrees.
