Solid Whey Protein with a Clean Ingredient Profile
The Nutricost Grass-Fed Whey Protein Concentrate in Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor is a reliable option for those seeking a straightforward protein supplement. The ingredient list is impressively clean, featuring grass-fed whey protein concentrate as the primary component, with natural flavors, peanut flour, and stevia for sweetness. There are no unnecessary fillers, which is a big plus if you’re mindful of what goes into your body. Each serving provides 25 grams of protein with only 150 calories, making it a great addition to a post-workout routine or even a quick snack. The protein content is solid, and the minimal fat (1.5g) and carbohydrate (5g) counts are ideal for those on low-carb or ketogenic diets. The added 2 grams of sugar are minimal and shouldn’t be a concern unless you’re on a strict no-sugar regimen.Taste-wise, it’s satisfying without being overly sweet, thanks to stevia instead of artificial sweeteners. The chocolate peanut butter flavor comes through nicely, although mixing it with milk instead of water enhances the taste and texture. One minor downside is that it can be grainy if not mixed thoroughly. Using a blender instead of just a shaker bottle can make a noticeable difference in the texture. The sodium content is also slightly higher at 320mg per serving, which might be something to watch if you’re monitoring your salt intake.Overall, this whey protein delivers high-quality protein with a clean ingredient list and a taste that’s enjoyable enough to look forward to. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking to supplement their protein intake without unnecessary additives.

Light but tasty and creamy shake
I've tried A LOT of protein shakes over the last few years and this is definitely one of the best. It has a delicious (if fairly light) peanut butter and chocolate flavor that is really creamy. Two things usually throw off the flavor: peanut butter shakes typically have a hint of an odd chemical taste but this one doesn't. Also, they use stevia, which is probably the best sweetener, but it usually has an off aftertaste to it but this does not. In that regard, this is one of the best though again it's light in flavor (maybe that's the trick?).This mix has 30g of protein per serving, which is definitely on the higher end in the macronutrient spectrum. Considering it doesn't have much else in the way of micronutrients or good fats, the protein is a big component. Other than that, it seems fairly good ingredients and at about $1.50 per serving, it's a decent value. It's not a meal replacement though, so keep that in mind. I haven't heard of the brand before this but it had all the standard safety measures.

Great protein supplement
Really like this protein supplement. Higher grams of protein per serving than other supplements we've tried. When added to chocolate items make the flavor similar to a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup!

Good macros, and overall good taste.
I decided to give this a try since the macros were really good per serving, and who doesn't love a chocolate/peanut butter combo. The taste was good, not too overwhelming. It blends really well, and I didn't have any leftover clumping. The cost per serving is pretty average. This is a great cost effective solution for a solid favored whey protein drink.

THE BEST Protein POWDER without needing to add stuff
I’m not a fan of protein powders but I buy them for cost-efficiency compared to pre-made shakes. Most of the protein powders I’ve tried weren’t great and I found myself needing to add something to it (IE: Milk, sweetener, extracts, PB2, and/or fruit). This Nutricost Grass-Fed Whey Protein Contrite powder is surprisingly good without anything added besides the recommended 6-8 ounces of water. In the Chocolate PB flavor, this taste is a rich cocoa powder with a hint of Powdered Peanut Butter. The chocolate is more pronounced than the PB. It has a chocolatey taste even without adding milk to it which isn’t the norm from my experience. This is sweetened with Stevia which is also amazing! There isn’t any obvious aftertaste and it mixes well although a bit syrupy at the bottom (like hot cocoa). This is one of the best protein powders straight out of the container. It tastes better than my Now Sports and Premier Protein powdered proteins. It has 150 calories, 30 grams protein, 5g carbs, 2g sugar, 1.5g fat, 1g fiber, and 320g of sodium. I would consider ordering in other flavors, a great find for a protein powder option.

Bitter is an understatement
This might be the most bitter-tasting protein powder I've ever had, which is stranger considering the rest of their flavors aren't remotely bitter. If you hate yourself, drink up.
