Touch Screen Toaster

Summary: I have been using this toaster for about a month now, and it has been working extremely well with my AWG gluten-free organic bread. We chose the 4-slice version so we can toast more bread at the same time when we are all home, and the gluten-free setting combined with the visual timer gives consistently perfect results. We decided to go with the 4-slice version instead of a single toaster so we could toast more bread at the same time, especially on weekends when we are all home. I had been struggling with inconsistent results from standard toasters and wanted something that offered more control without constant guessing. Right out of the box, setup was straightforward and the touch screen controls were easy to understand. I really like that the display shows visual examples of what the toast should look like at different levels, which removes a lot of the guesswork. The stainless steel finish looks nice on the counter and feels solid and well made. For my gluten-free bread, I use the gluten-free option with the darkest toast setting, and my toast comes out perfect every time. If I need just a little extra warmth, I can drop it down for an additional 30 seconds without over-toasting. I also use the bagel setting with the darkest toast option for my AWG bagels, and they turn out evenly toasted and crisp without drying out. My husband and my daughter eat regular bread, and they have had no issues using this toaster either. They both really enjoy the timer and the visual display, which makes it easy to see how much time is left without guessing. Having four slots has been especially helpful when we are all eating at the same time. Since AWG bread comes as a full loaf, I slice it myself before toasting. I believe this will last me years to come and I really hope that’s the case given the price. **2. Functionality/Performance**: The toaster functions really well although I feel like I’ve noticed the toast turns out slightly darker then shown on the display. So I would go 1-2 settings down then how you actually want it to look. I love that it comes with a countdown. **3. Ease of Use**: It’s really easy to use, minimal guessing work on where you need to go to get your desired results. **4. Value for Money**: For the money it’s a pretty expensive toaster even for a digital one but I liked that this one had settings for both of the sides unlike most other toasters. **5. Lots of choices for types of bread and doneness. Shows countdown till completion on each side. Adjust time for consecutive toastings done in the same slots so that subsequent toast doesn't get overdone. Handy reheat setting

One of the better toasters I have used. Pops up as toast, not warm bread. The toast is mostly as pictured on the toaster. Does a good job on muffins and bagels. Only real negative is that some over sized bread like Italian bread does not fit to the toasters bottom. Like most other toasters, the top of the bread sticks up. Other than that, I recommend it.

sleek design / works beautifully

I love this toaster!! I bought it for the office, after the two previous toasters died. (One quit working and the other had no control on doneness after a month or so) Everyone said this one had two many gadgets and wasn't going to make it. Five months later everyone is in love with it. Precise, even toasting, especially on bagels, and no problems at all. If I had one negative, the handles are a little flimsy, but it has not affected the products performance. BUY IT, you will love it.
