RockDoveWomen's Two-Tone Hoodback Slipper with Removable Insole

When our huge dog was a puppy, he chewed everything he could get his jaws on, and the awesome slippers my husband bought me for Christmas the year dog was born (in my house) were no exception. I have had a hard time finding another pair like them. These Rockdoves come closest I have found. They run a little bit large. I had to return the first pair and get one size smaller. They launder nicely, but tend to try to shrink a bit if dried in a hot dryer. Not a fatal problem as they stretch back out after the next wearing. I got the purple ones, and the color is not bad in person. The bottoms are a sturdy rubber with a removable, washable memory foam insole. You may think the little lip on the back of the heel rise will make them slip on with no hands but you would be mistaken. The back is not stiff or sturdy enough for that. I like them a lot. They’re more comfortable to stand and walk around in than my old slippers that met their demise at the jaws of a teething puppy.

I love these slippers so much. They are perfect for around the house, cute, and comfy. They have a slim profile and are lightweight so I’m not forced to shuffle around in them like other slipper. The sole is sturdy. Easy to slip on and off. I’ve had them for about a month and they have no issues or tears. It’s a plus that I feel cute when I have them on.

... I really like them. I wear a 7 and a half so I ordered a 7 based on customer feedback. Even so they were too big so I ordered a 6. They fit better overall but were too snug around my toes. I'm going to return them. I'm glad I kept the size 7. I put insoles from a pair of street shoes and now they fit perfectly. They're warm but not too warm and cushiomy but not too cushiony. I like that the uppers are cotton. The description states that the insults are washable. Since I wash all my shoes including sneakers, boots and even most leather shoes, I plan to wash these too. I like the eggplant color because it's good at camoflaging dirt. Since I'll be wearing them when I'm cleaning that's a plus. The ones I'm returning are salmon color which are lovely but I'm sure would show every speck of dirt. I'm very happy with these slippers and highly recommend them. I'm tempted to buy another pair. I took off one star only because of the sizing problem. I wish they came in half sizes, but, alas, most slippers don't.

I love these and will purchase more. Very well made and comfortable. True to size. Never thought I’d see the day that I’d wear my slippers to town, but I did. They’re that good looking. Got the purple and the color is soft and muted, not pastel,

I wish I could’ve given a half star bc I don’t think 3 is enough, but the issue I have is frustrating. With my old slippers, I could just slip them on, and these have the back part bent in & zero support, so I ALWAYS have to stick my finger in the back to put them on properly, and after a few weeks I’m over it. I’m not the kind of person who ruins shoes by smashing the back under my heel, so that part is unpleasant. However, they are super comfortable & cute. I didn’t notice any sizing or quality issue as some of the other reviews have mentioned. I’m a 9 always, and the 9 fit me perfectly. Also I live in a warm climate, and I don’t notice my feet sweating. In all honesty, if I could simply slip them on to run upstairs quickly, I’d absolutely love them.

The wife loves them. I know she loves them because she has thanked me and told me she loves them at least six times in just two days. And she is not one to extend praise lightly.You see, my wife is a very active woman who had a major surgery recently and is limited to the house except when we go to outpatient PT. So to have a warm, comfortable, well-fitting pair of house slippers is a must.Her old moccasins we ill fitting and uncomfortable. These are a great fit, warm and stable for her stability as she recovers. The additional material in the heel holds the slippers in place, preventing heal rub and associated pain. She wears size 8.5 women's shoes so we ordered 9s and they are a great fit.And purple is her favorite color, so to find this pair in eggplant is a bonus.So pick your favorite color, choose a size (whole sizes only), order a pair and see for yourself. You can always return them if not satisfied with the fit.

These are great, I bought them because they have removable insoles which I need because I have metatarsalgia and have to have an arch support to stabilize my hyper flexible arch area. I have a number of vionic slippers and they are amazing because of the support and quality but they are difficult to put on so I love these when I'm just relaxing around the house I can slip them off when I'm sitting on the couch but I'm ready to walk around on the hardwood floors if I decide to do a project or clean. You can also fold over the backend and you don't have to scrunch your toes to keep them on. The price is fair for the quality and they feel soft even against barefoot skin. I also think they are cute, they look like a heydude brand and would not look crazy if you were to accidentally run out of the house in them.

I really like these slippers; they're very well-made and comfortable.I was concerned at first because they don't come in half sizes and I normally wear a 7-1/2. After reading the comments I decided on a 7, but was afraid they'd be too tight and small. When I first put them on, they were definitely a little snug, but now that I've worn them for awhile, they've stretched a bit and actually fit perfectly. I think the 8 would have been too big, so I'm glad I went for the 7.The padded insole makes them really comfortable, and the material is soft but pretty thick & sturdy, so I'm hoping they'll hold up well. I'm pretty tough on slippers as I wear them everyday both inside and out, so I need something that's going to be sturdy enough to handle that without falling apart in a couple months.For the price, these are a very good buy, and now that I know I like them and they fit well, I plan to order another pair in a different color.

The slippers are very soft and comfortable but, in my case, the most important part of them is that they have removable insoles and my podiatrist told me that it is very important for me to wear my custom made insoles even when I am walking about indoors. The price, too, was very reasonable, they look good on, so it's a win, win situation all round.

Lovely slippers and perfect fit — I removed the insole for 1 week as they were too tight for me. Afterwards I washed them and they came out perfect, even my husband was impressed. I can now wear them again with insole on!I would certainly recommend them.

Great value, a little neat at first but they soon stretch off. Supportive and nice material.
