Great strainer and heavier than other ones.
This is much better than the other ones I found on here. I made the mistake and purchased a set of two (the ones you see the most on here) and they are super flimsy and cheaply made. This one I’ve had for years and it eventually tore a slit in the rubber part so I searched to find this one which is much heavier. It’s collapsible and small. Great item for sure.

Super collapsable stainer
I was looking for a mid-sized stainer and was happy to find this listed. Quality is excellent. It works very well with pasta, rice noodles, veggies. It is perfect for small storage drawers. This one has gone into our motor home and serves us well.

Made in USA and great for making kefir cheese!
This colander doe a not have metal- kefir grains do not like metal. So this colander is perfect for straining the kefir and whey.It fits perfectly in the 8 cup Pyrex batter bowl or Target or Anchor Hocking!The colander collapses for easy storage!I've bought two!

Handle to short
I had an old Dexas strainer and the handle was long enough to rest the strainer in the sink and pour your food in..NOT this one, the handle is much shorter and you have to hold it, which defeats the purpose..

Buy it! Or not... updated review
Update: this only lasted about 2 years before ripping. Wish it lasted longer. I bought a similar strainer, same brand about 8 years ago. It recently tore so I replaced it with this. Love how it collapses for storage and while cleaning in the dishwasher. Highly recommend!

Fantastic strainer!
I quite love this strainer! It's flexible, adjustable, easy to clean, dishwasher safe, flattens for easy storage and won't rust. At 8", it's just the right size to rinse fruit and vegetables and the holes are small enough to strain angel hair pasta.I actually bought this as a gift and liked it enough to buy one for myself.

Great product, especially for those looking for a storage-friendly solution. Product works well when filling jars or other containers and conveniently collapses and stows away nicely. Note that when using on a smaller container, the funnel tends to tip over on the handle-side. Not a major issue, just can be surprising when it occurs the first few times. Otherwise, it's a handy tool to have in the kitchen.
