The voltage drop generally depends on the resistance of the cable over its length, and the amount of current being drawn through the wire.Voltage dropThe cable should be suitable for most applications, although if using the cable for high currents, the voltage drop may be significant enough to notice. ( measured a 1.1V voltage drop across one 5m cable when drawing 3A from a 12V PSU (this was after the actual PSU voltage drop was taken into account).

Arrived as descried, as pictured, safe and sound.These cables work quite well and are very well made for what they are. I could think of a 101 uses for these but the two main applications which stick out to me are use with CCTV cameras that run on 12v and LED Strips and lighting fixtures which also run off a 12v 2.1mm barrel connector.Things to note, the barrel connector (male end) is ever so slightly on the short side, 99 times in 100 this wont be a problem but in some rare instances, depending on the design of the item the connector plugs into it could cause issues such as a poor connection or loose fitment. I’ve shown it pictured next to another full size barrel connector – these are roughly 2mm shorter than they should be (10mm rather than 12mm length wise) other than that minor criticism they work well and are very well made.Highly recommended.

Very useful 2x10 metre of cable providing power cable extension. A bit expensive but very nice.

This 5 metre extension cable is perfect for led lights, it is an easy solution to extend your dc power source for lighting. The cable is durable and easy to bend into the shape you need to route it. I am running this with 12V but it is rated to handle up to 24 volts at a 3 amp rating. I can definitely recommend these cables.

Excellent 5 metre DC extension lead, perfect for LEDs. This cable was just what I needed when running power to LED strip though the garden in conduit. Good value

Ideal for extending power to ubiquitous devices that use barrel connectors (usually 12V but also 5V).Well made and handles quite a bit of power. No problems on my back massager and warmer that draws up to 3A @12V. Connectors fit well and have good strain relief.

Ich benötigte eine Verlängerung vom Netzteil zur Wetterstation. Dafür schien dies Kabel hier bestens geeignet. Und so war es auch. Passt perfekt und ist sehr gut und wertig verarbeitet. Im Set befinden sich, neben den 2 Verlängerungskabeln, auch noch etliche Kabelklemmen zum Verlegen der Kabel, passend zum Kabeldurchmesser. Top!Es handelt sich hier um meine persönliche Meinung. Ich hoffe ich kann damit helfen, Andere bei einer Kaufentscheidung zu unterstützen. Ich wünsche mir auch gern ehrliche Meinungen!
