I took this to Niagara Falls. It worked great. Cute. Not too heavy. Protected me from spray. I'm a small and got a small. Perfect fit. Tied the inside cords in a knot each to keep it fitted. That worked but could use a tab that catches like other coats have. Got the navy blue jacket. Love it. Have a yellow one that's different brand. It is heavier and not as soft. Like this one better. Other isn't as breathable.

This is definitely lightweight, but it is a nice rain coat that kept me dry while it rained and warm when it got a little chilly. It is stylish and fits really well. I especially like it does not have pockets in the chest area that stick out if you have big boobs!

This is a very nice jacket. It is lightweight, love the color and the plaid pattern on the inside, and arrived on time. I have used it a couple times and it's kept me dry. The only nit picky con I have is that the sleeves are not long enough. I'm 5'9" and have long arms, so this is sometimes a problem when looking for long-sleeved tops. I could not find any other jacket with longer sleeves so I kept this one. Aside form that, it's a great purchase.

Fit well, fairly flattering, room for layers when needed. I liked the below-hip length and the detachable hood. Kept me comfortable in September weather in Scotland and northern England.

I love this coat. I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly (I'm 5'5, 170 lbs). I have worn it in drizzling rain and plan to use it for walks in the rain. I am excited for more rainy days. The coat is light weight and will work with a warm shirt in colder days. I love the yellow.

Let's get to the helpful info: I bought a large, I typically wear a medium or large in a jacket, in this case I wanted enough room for a heavy sweater or hoodie. The size will work fine. There are cinch-ish strings inside, they would be better if they had "stops" on them to cinch and leave alone. Who ties their inside strings? I put a knot in them and that will be fine. I bought the olive green, it's a good color, the fabric is soft and we will soon know how water repellant it is. I LOVED that I could get this overnight, that was a big deciding factor in my purchase as this trip came about quickly. I bought another rain jacket that won't arrive till March 9th (from another company on Amazon) so this one is going to have to be my go to. I like the length, need to keep as much dry as possible without rain pants. If there's more to add, I'll do so after the trip.Update: Back from the trip, needed the raincoat. Functionality was just fine, it doesn't "breathe" so if you are doing a fast paced anything you are likely to build up a sweat. As I mentioned above, I bought a size up so large hoodies and sweaters would fit. In general I would advise your regular size for this jacket unless you plan to be in colder regions and just needed a shell like I did. Glad I bought it and I would recommend it. I like the big pockets, would suggest making side pockets with them so you have essentially 2 pockets in one.

It’s very nice and fits well. I am disappointed that the lining is not flannel but a sateen. From the pictures it looks like flannel and that is why I ordered it.

Raincoat failed to work. Water soaked through the coat and the inner lining and the jumper and top underneath. It failed completely.

Exactly what I was after for outdoor walks on rainy days. Well made and fits perfect. Love the pockets and drawstring waist and hood. Hidden zipper under snap buttons the entire length to block rain and wind. Fabulous, thank you!

The rain coat is of cheap quality for the amount of money I paid for and the style is too boxy even though the inside draw string is supposed to create a curve around my waist line. It made me look short and boxy.
