I have purchased left-handed scissors before but none of them have worked as well as these – they are small enough for my eight-year-old and yet I can use them to Dash plus they work so well I can use them as a right-handed person! Remember those awful rubber-handled scissors they had for us left-handed kids back in the olden days? They were so bad, that I learned to use the regular scissors. My son, a true lefty, couldn't manage it. These are a wonderful set!! They fit well in the hand, are easy to identify due to the color, and are long enough so they don't stand out as odd. I'm so glad they sell them in pairs! We keep one set at home. The other set travels with him back and forth to school. They are very good quality. I'm confident they'll last a good long while.

I constantly question why the left handed populous overlooked by common retailers like Target, Walmart, Office Depot, etc. Some of them have Lefty scissors on their websites but Choose not to carry them n their stores. As long as this is the case, I will b ordering mine from Amazon. These r great-love that they come n a multipack n case a pair gets misplaced at school...

My granddaughter loves the scissors. First time she has had a real left hand pair.

The largest finger holes in a child scissor I could find. My normal adult male fingers do fit, barely.I took these into my children's group (age 9), all righties!, to give them a feel for what it is to be a lefty, but these are so sharp that no one had any problem cutting. I had to get a pair of righties to show them they were different. I wish I knew about left handed scissors when I was nine!I'm using one set in the kitchen to open things like sauce packs in frozen prepared egg rolls, so I need to rinse them off. After a thorough rinsing and drying, I see no problem. At least on the outside, the bolt is plastic. It may just be plastic caps over a metal bolt, but it appears like they may be able to take submersion and drying without rusting...time will tell, as will I if I remember!

After spending way to much time searching for lefty scissors locally - I checked Amazon & found these. These are a nice size for him and left handed scissors make all the difference in the world! Having scissors that are for both right & left handed individuals left him frustrated and his scissor skills were awful! These are perfect and are a must for a young lefty!

Purchased green color Lefty's Youth Sized True Left-handed Scissors, package of two for my 8 years old grandson Max. Well made and sturdy. $16 for package of two. Told him one was for home and one for him at school. He has never used left handed scissor at home or school before even tho he is left handed. No one thought it was an issue. Max is very happy to be able to see what he was cutting better. Fits comfortably his youth hand nicely without the strain of a right handed scissor that most of us normally use.

My daughter loves these scissors, and unlike so many that claim to be for lefties, these actually have the blades "reversed" correctly so a lefty can see where they are cutting. She's in Jr. High now and needed something a little sharper and bigger than the lefty scissors I've bought for her in elementary school. It took a while to find a pair that really had the blades correct. These are the ones you want.
