I purchased the JBL Xtreme 4 (Blue) using Amazon’s monthly installment plan, which made the purchase much more manageable. From the moment I turned it on, I was blown away by the powerful sound and deep bass. Whether I’m using it indoors or outdoors, the audio quality is rich, loud, and balanced—exactly what you'd expect from JBL.One of the standout features is the 24-hour battery life. I’ve used it for beach days, backyard gatherings, and long work sessions without needing to recharge. The fact that it doubles as a power bank is incredibly convenient — I can charge my phone on the go without carrying extra gear.The IP67 waterproof rating gives me peace of mind around water. I’ve used it near the pool and even in light rain with no issues at all. The PartyBoost feature is great too — I paired it with a friend’s JBL speaker and the sound coverage was phenomenal.The build quality feels rugged and premium, and the blue color gives it a stylish, modern look. By far the best Bluetooth speaker you can get in this size.The sound is amazing. (One would expect nothing less from JBL). Plenty of power for a party outside without having the entire neighborhood hear you. The base transducers on the sides add a significant about of lower frequencies that are hard to believe from such a reasonably sized speaker. The highs are clear and crisp the mids have a bit of that JBL warmth ...amazing all around.Dust and water proof.There is an app to let you run some upgrades and adjust EQ settings.That battery just lasts and lasts and is also replaceable (couple of screws).I had a previous version of this speaker, it had a very annoying and difficult to open charger port cover.This one eliminates both the cover and the proprietary charger. The speaker can now be charged via USB-C which automatically detects presence of water. The cover is no longer needed.There is even a bottle opener on the shoulder strap to make this already speaker even more practical and perfect.

Upgraded from the first gen JBL Xtreme and I was not disappointed at all. The sound quality is amazing for the size. The clarity is clear. The bass is outstanding. Easy to sync up and the JBL app is a huge plus for tweaking the equalizer and updating the unit. Best value out there for a Bluetooth speaker. The Bluetooth connection distance is incredible. Built very tough. I use it on construction sites and I’m not afraid to get it dirty. The strap is durable and great for carrying around. 10/10

The JBL Charge 4 is powerful, clear, and has deep bass. I love how portable it is, and the battery lasts all day—plus it can charge my phone! It’s waterproof and super durable, perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. Definitely worth it if you want reliable sound on the go.

This speaker does exactly what you want a portable speaker to do at this price point. The sound is good but that bass is where this product shines over its Sony counterpart. I have seen a lot of reviews saying the Sony Ult Field 5 has more bass than the JBL Xtreme 4 but through my testing, the JBL wins out with much cleaner, punchier low end. For a portable speaker, I feel having proper bass is the most important thing which is why I love the Xtreme 4.Additionally the speaker is pretty lightweight, which makes it easy to put in a carryon bag for travel. The removable battery is great if you ever need to replace it. The IP67 rating for water and dust resistance is up to standard so I have no worry’s when brining the speaker outside on the beach or by the pool.I haven’t used the Auracast feature yet and was a little bummed when I realized I couldn’t connect my old JBL Pulse 3 with my new Xtreme 4 . But from my understanding, Auracast is a big upgrade in Bluetooth functionality.Overall, I am very happy with this speaker and would recommend it over its competitors.

Very durable feeling. I bought it for our pool room and it gets nice and loud. Very easy to connect to as well as easy to charge. I have brought it with me on my Ranger as well as on my boat. Holds a charge for a very long time and is great for outdoor use. Also, it looks really cool!

The JBL Xtreme 4 has blown me away. It’s much louder than my previous speaker, and the sound quality is incredible. I’ve taken it jogging, river rafting, and even on vacation. It handled mud, sand, and being fully submerged in water for 15–20 minutes — and still worked perfectly afterward. The battery life also really impressed me; even at full volume, it lasted a solid 6 hours in the sun and water. Sounds great. The low end is not as prominent as I would like, even after making adjustments through the app. Connection is consistent and the battery life is impressive.
