Very good value for your money. My husband and I are both the same Height. We are both 5’7...he has short legs and I have long legs. So with that in mind. Here my review.The machine itself is very well made. The pads are nice. I would say 90% of the machine is steel and very heavy. It doesn’t take up a lot of space. You can adjust the settings to fit your needs. Overall, I am very happy with my leg press.The bad part about the machine. Their clear plastic over the lettering. Be cautious pulling this off. All the boxes are very heavy. I would recommend the package being dropped off as close to the area where it will be used.How to put it together??Unpack everything and make sure you have all the parts. Read the directions and follow them exactly. I would sort out all the screw. Check all sizes and match them together. This will save you a lot of headaches later. Again don’t skip and steps. I tried skipping a step and the frame would not fit together.The base will go together first and then the sides. I would recommend pre-fiting The frame before sliding the tran on. I turned the machine on it side to slide the tran on. Tran part is very heavy and needs to be put together first. However mine was already Assembled. I made sure it was put together correctly. Slide the Tran all the way down and stand the machine upright. Then assembly the back part of the frame. See pic above. Putting the machine together is hard if you don’t take your time. Note: If the Tran come Assembled it will look like your missing parts. Look at the Tran before calling anyone. Once you have put the frame part together the rest is easy. Just following the directions and you should be good.Seller reviewThe seller was very helpful when I had problems with the shipping. They will need your phone number to set up drop off for the product. Amazon is not very clear about this. Any large heavy product will need to be delivered by box truck. You will also need to check your Amazon messages and your spam email. This was my mistake. The seller will help you out.

We relocated and sold this exact unit. After building out our new gym, we bought it again. This is the 2nd one I have owned. Incredibly well built! Not a hard assembly… Takes a couple of hours. Most important to lay out all the parts. I labeled all the screws by pile. Some of the parts on the roller were already assembled even though the instructs told ya how to do it. So the parts I thought were missing were already assembled. Took me only 2-3 minutes to figure that part. I give it a solid 5 stars just like my last one!!!

I use this leg press & hack squat machine for -- you guessed it, leg presses and hack squats. The materials are quality. During assembly, the tolerances on some of the bolt holes were a bit off, so I ended up having to do some creative / ghetto engineering. I can confirm that one man can put this together solo, but it's not exactly a fun time.As far as operation, it does what it says. My only complaint about using it is that I wish that the range of motion it allowed were a little deeper, specifically on the leg press. That issue might be lessened if you're on the taller side, but at 5'7 the leg pressing doesn't feel deep enough to get a good stretch under tension.Overall, it's a good machine.

I was very VERY worried about ordering this product online. I have researched this leg press for months before I finally had enough cash saved up to purchase it in full. Even after I had the cash sitting in my account I was concerned that the product would not arrive at my house in one piece or would be damaged or lost in shipment. After looking for one last week to find it locally which was a total failure I bought it from Amazon.Once the order button was hit I received the typical email from Amazon indicating the purchase was complete. I then waited 4 days and received an email from the vendor letting me know the product was in shipment. The trucking company contacted me to set up a drop off to my house. They were completely professional and the leg press (all 5 boxes) were on a skid and banded down tight. So far it appeared to be going well however a small piece of me was still concerned some screws, bolts, or something was going to be missing. The following day my son and I began to assemble the machine. It still shocks me to the core that all the pieces were in the boxes and assembly was fairly straight forward. The leg press is SOLID from head to toe and we even had extra washers supplied. This has turned out to be a GREAT addition to my little home gym! I would recommend this to anyone!

Love this piece. Disks come separately. We paired this with Rogue disks, but any disk brand will do. This took 6 hours and 3 people to assemble but we are not experts at all. The shoulder pads can be painful and the foot pedal size for the leg press is not as wide as we’d like but it works well. Overall great, sturdy, quality piece of equipment. I do recommend purchasing.

Second product from body solid. Awful installation and instructions.Don’t recommend buying any products from Body Solid. Holes were not pre drilled accurately, overall poor value for the price.

It's an alright machine but the instructions are absolute crap, and the parts lists of the numerous different bolts and washers are very confusing.
