I ordered this wondering if a large size would fit even though I usually teeter between large and extra large - I was disappointed that they don't offer an XL in this. The item arrived and it is just a bit too tight for me to wear, but it is true to size...about what I would expect from a large-sized jacket.The quality of this vest is evident as soon as one touches it. The material feels like a quality, finished material. It seems to be waterproof and windproof just judging on appearances and my prior experience with outerwear. The vest has a decent amount of insulation and for the brief bit that I wore it, I could tell that it had a good insulating factor...I started getting warm.

I'm loving this vest for a couple of reasons - it's warm, comfortable, and the quality is on point.The only negative was that it came fairly wrinkly, but I just tossed it in my dryer for about 10 minutes and that seemed to do the trick.This is very well insulated and keeps me as warm as some other vests I own, some of which actually have electrical heating elements built into them.The color is a nice flat dark earth (FDE) tone and goes well with pretty much anything I'm wearing.The comfort level on this is incredible, it's made from that moisture wicking type of material (100% Polyester) both on the inside and outside so wind and water is never a concern. The detachable hood is functional and looks great overall in the whole design.The zippers are robust (unlike some others I've seen on vests) and I expect them to last a very long time. The vest comes with two exterior zipper pockets and one interior pocket which makes carrying items super convenient.All in all, I have really enjoyed wearing this on the golf course and even around the office - it's absolutely perfect for the Fall and even mild Winter conditions.

This isn't a bad vest, but there are so many others to choose from I don't see the unique or superior aspect to this one. Manufacturers these days love to make a virtue out of "lightweight", and there may be times when you need or want that, but in chilly weather, "lightweight" is not necessarily such a great thing. The fill within this vest it just too lightweight. It's not that warm and the fill segments are too large. It's good for a cool autumn morning, but not for anything colder... or for some fashion statement, if puffer vests are your thing. The hood seems superfluous considering its weight. It detaches.There is an inside pocket but it's not secure, so it's not great for a cellphone or wallet. It should zip, or at the very least have a velcro patch to secure it.

I ordered this padded vest with a hood, one more for my collection of vests. I had seen this vest in previous searches but it was overpriced, so I ordered it. I wanted to know if the vest would fit me as seen in the illustrations, and I was disappointed because When I took it out of the bag, I couldn't see the marked padded parts, which attracted me to order it.I put it on, but it was crushed. You can feel the padded inside, but it loses the shape of the linear padding parts of the vest.It has two pockets with zippers for greater security and another open pocket inside.The central zipper is made of good material, but when removing the hat, it must be opened very carefully so as not to climb on top of the material that covers it. I did it quickly, and the zipper got stuck with what covered it, and then I had a hard time undoing it.I will use this vest for work, but on days that are not rainy because it is not waterproof, I imagine I will be wholly soaked if I use it in a storm.I imagined the vest to be more elegant and of better quality than the vests in my closet, but it was different. The vest is padded, but it lost its design in its four horizontal padded areas; now I have a standard vest, which is very simple to wear in cold but not rainy weather

The hood is removable which I didn't realize when ordering, so a nice bonus. It is very light weight but still super warm under another light jacket. Has large pockets including a few inner pockets

This is such a nice men's vest!! It's very nice quality and comfortable! I highly recommend it, it looks so nice on my husband, keeps him warm! Great price & great gift!

Ordered this for my husband who collects vests (seriously, how many does one man need? However he doesn’t complain about how many shoes I have 😆 so I ordered this for him) He likes how it fits and that the outside pockets zip up. There is also an open inside pocket. The one odd thing is that the zipper pull is on the opposite side of the jacket from what he’s used to. (Like a women’s jacket) He says that will take some getting used to.

Warm,fits well,good size,feels wind proof. Has good and pockets,nice material.
