Beautiful!
Each page is full of beautiful inspiration and a delight for the eyes. I love Veranda Magazine and this gives me all the best in one place.

Gorgeous photos, but lack of cohesion and horrible kindle version bring it down
I love the sumptuous/ aspirational Veranda magazine; this book is bit of a letdown. I ordered the kindle version. The book goes through the alphabet, assigning a decorating term to each letter, and providing pictures as examples. Because of this, the book lacked cohesion in the presentation/ editing; rather, it’s a series of unrelated photos. It loses a star for lack of cohesion and another star for horrible layout of the kindle version. The index is like a ms word document with poor layout, the page breaks are completely random and sometimes the photo comes before the term it represents, which may be fine in a hardcopy but makes no sense in a kindle version.

Pretty pictures
This is organized like a dictionary of terms... and on my iPad, the pictures and pages come out strangely.If you want to try to capture the spirit of the Veranda magazine, this just doesn’t do that. But I feel like a learned a lot.

simple, basic, elementary, unsophisticated.
If you are serious about decorating and have some decent knowledge on the matter, don't waste your money on this book like I just did. I felt like a ten year old in elementary school while I was passing the pages...It's very basic and simple and very unsophisticated.It might make a good gift for some neophyte who is beginning to venture in the subject, so let's see how I can recycle this book.

Veranda Decorating-the best Interior Design Book out this Year!
One of the best interior design books I have read, and I have read many! If you want it for a coffee table book, but that is fine, but please do yourself a favor and savor the marvelous homes and rooms in this book. They are scrumptious and I devoured it like the tastiest treat on the menu!
