This was the second storm door handle I purchased to replace the original. The first had a plastic button & was a nightmare. This is all metal, with the bonus of a lock! Installing was both easy, as well as a pain in the butt. Cutting the rod to size is NOT easy! I also had to cut it twice, because the instructions lead me astray. It was one notch too long &, because of that, I thought something was wrong with the handle. If you get it screwed on & you can’t press the button, the rod is too long. Hope that helps someone else. That said, I’m very happy with it.

Only issue is screws weren't long enough to go through other side had to buy longer ones,,, then bam it all worked

Old push button handle screws stripped out handle was loose and the latching part made of aluminum broke off. This new one fit the mounting holes of the old one exactly. Only real difference is this one has a plastic latching part instead metal. Works good, now my storm door stays shut and does not blow open in a strong wind.

Awful to install

I replaced an old unit on my storm door. It was easy to do and did not require any specialty tools.
