Continued Excellence from LTC Angolia
This is the third volume of LTC Angolia's series on American Airborne forces of WW II. His interesting and insightful writing, attention to detail, and excellent photographs make this a book to be enjoyed again and again. For those of us who own the other two volumes, you already know the subject and high quality of the books. For those who are not familiar with the series, it is not the combat history of American Airborne forces. The series devotes its self to discussing and documenting the clothing, equipment and the most fascinating part, the incredible variation of patches and badges. The series documents and provides photographs of an unbelievable number of unit patches, individual badges and variations of them. I like the way the author adds corrections to the earlier volumes. For those of us that enjoy seeing what things really looked like, not the Hollywood version, this book along with the other volumes in the series are a must. They are part of my library, make them part of yours.
