Not pretentious, so much better
I was skeptical, and now I think it’s going to be a regular purchase of mine. I did not think it was going to make much of a difference but it really does get you much deeper flavors in your cup of coffee. Keep in mind though, if you’re using bad water in your coffee to begin with, I’m not sure what your results will be. For me, I use zerowater filters which bring my normal tap water down to 0ppm before I fill a gallon-size jug and add this product. This gallon of water usually lasts me 2-3 days and I drink a lot of coffee! So I think one box will probably last me somewhere around a month.

Transform Your Coffee Game with Perfect Coffee Water!
I was skeptical about the idea that changing water could make such a difference in my coffee, but Perfect Coffee Water has made me a believer! As an avid coffee drinker, I’ve always focused on the quality of the beans and the method of brewing, but I never considered the impact of the water used. Perfect Coffee Water has completely changed that perspective. From the first brew, I noticed a marked improvement in the flavor clarity of my coffee. The usual bitterness was toned down, and all the subtle notes that my coffee promised were finally front and center. It felt like I was tasting my favorite coffee blend for the first time again. The packaging of Perfect Coffee Water is straightforward and practical, ensuring the water stays fresh and pure. It’s also incredibly easy to use—just substitute this for your usual brewing water. There’s no extra work involved, which is a huge plus for my busy mornings.Cost-wise, it’s a small price to pay for such a significant upgrade in quality. Considering the expense we coffee lovers are willing to bear for premium beans and state-of-the-art machines, the water, it turns out, is equally crucial, and Perfect Coffee Water is definitely worth it.Overall, if you love your coffee and think you’ve reached the pinnacle of what your brew can taste like, think again. Perfect Coffee Water proves that sometimes, the missing ingredient is the simplest one. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their coffee experience!

The best I've found for coffee so far
I'm a bit of a coffee nerd and only drink light roast specialty coffee these days. I've tried a bunch of different waters for coffee, and so far this is the best. It produces a balanced, sweet cup with all the notes still shining through, which is my preferred profile. FWIW, the ingredients are sodium bicarbonate, calcium chloride, and magnesium chloride, and it reads 100-115 ppm on my cheapo TDS meters. Sure, it's a bit expensive for what you get, but overall it doesn't add much cost per cup, so I think it's worth it. I use a ZeroWater filter to get my tap water down to 0 ppm and then add one packet per gallon.

I Don’t Trust This
Wish I could write a review of how the product actually works, but after opening the box I was completely turned off. Several of the packets were puffed up tight like balloons, and one had actually burst in the box. Another popped just sitting out on my counter. I don’t know what kind of chemical reaction is going on in these packets to cause that, but there’s no way I’m putting that stuff in my coffee — and in my body — now!

Great for reducing acidity(sourness) in espresso and seems to increase extraction
This is my favorite water packets for coffee I have tried so far, specifically for espresso. They do increase the PH level more than most of the other packets I have tried which for me reduces the acidity(sourness) of the final cup. Also the gases released during brewing are much greater so when using in pour over your initial brew will create a lot more bubbles which can be annoying to deal with. I have been struggling with sour espresso shots and this has helped a lot with that. Extraction seems higher and the acidity seems lower. I actually think it doesn't work as well for pour over due to the reduced acidity and the increased release of gases. I prefer more acidic lighter roasted coffees for pour overs and this allows me to use the same coffee for espresso without getting a sour flavor.

These make a difference in taste and texture
I use this for coffee and tea. It really is better. I know people may be skeptical, but minerals can do a LOT to influence what gets extract and what doesn’t, and to what extent. That makes a big difference in flavor profile, on top of the slight taste the minerals contribute themselves. It can also make the texture silkier.I bought a big glass gallon jug with a metal lid here on Amazon and I fill it with my ultra-filtered water so I don’t worry about it collecting microplastic particles over time. Distilled water would also be fine. Tap water has its own varied assortment of minerals and chemicals, so if for some reason you don’t get good results with this, that’s probably why.

Quality issues
While I do like the mineral composition, all the packets I received were bloated looking and they’ve all (so far) been damp inside. Makes it impossible to pour out the minerals and get them mixed into the water. Back to Third Wave Water I guess.

Totally changes the coffee drinking experience ( in a good way).
If you’re an avid coffee drink I would highly suggest adding perfect coffee water to not only your arsenal but your daily coffee routine. Once you add a packet to a gallon of water you’re ready to jump into a whole new realm of coffee drinking. Can’t wait to try this with other roasts, so far have tried with a medium roast and it just enhances the flavor profile to a point where I can’t see myself making coffee at home without it. I’ve only tried using perfect coffee water with my moka pot, but could totally see myself trying it with my pore over as well.
