Brilliant small portable, cannot fault it !!
I wasn’t expecting too much from such a small radio, but the sound from such a small speaker was unbelievably good with clear output, giving a very acceptable listening experience, both with music and speech, with good bass.It has many features, most untested as yet, but it seems to have excellent build quality so I don’t expect any problems (the manual is good and easy to understand).I unreservedly recommend this radio, well worth the money.

Mycket – A Fabulous Little Radio
I purchased this mycket radio because it featured DAB+ and its small size. I wasn’t expecting too much, from this radio, but I was wrong. It is an absolutely Fabulous little Radio. The Audio was far better than I would have expected from such a small speaker. It is nice that it Features both DAB+ and FM-RDS, as well as Bluetooth. The controls are simple, well laid out and a fabulous 65mm colour LCD screen. Navigating the various menus is a fairly straightforward learning process. The mycket pulls in numerous stations using its telescopic aerial. Up to 20 stations can be stored in memory, for both the DAB+ and FM-RDS Bands, which can be saved as Favourites, retrieval using the FAV button (on case front). The LCD display is clear, uncluttered, colourful, displaying Station information being listened to: Band, time, battery Level, station name, scrolling text, volume level, FAV, mono/stereo and signal strength.I also like the very squared sides-corners of the mycket plastic case. The mycket also has 8 basic EQ settings to suit your sound preference: Classical, Jazz, Pop etc.I have an Anker Bluetooth stereo speaker which I was hoping I could pair with the mycket Bluetooth. Sadly, the mycket Bluetooth will not work with the Anker speaker. It needs to be paired with a media device like a Smartphone, Tablet or Laptop, allowing these media sources to be played through the mycket speaker. Obviously, the Anker speaker and mycket can be connected using a stereo audio cable plugged into their 3.5mm Jack-plug sockets. That said, it's not as cool as connecting the mycket radio with the Anker speaker, using Bluetooth.Like most electronic equipment available today, the battery is rechargeable via a C-Type USB socket and seems to last a long time on a full charge. In conclusion, this is a Fabulous little radio for the money with great features and performance, which really impressed me hence this 5 Star Review.

good sound quality . portable radio. quite easy to set up and use.
Have used this radio for about a week .A small sized radio , but this makes it easy to move and use in most places.. The radio has no trailing mains wires it is powered by a lithium powered battery that can be recharged. The radio ,once set up ,has a number of DAB and FM channels that deliver good sound quality. Am not sure about bluetooth connectivity headphones working successfully with it .This radio works ok for me so far., after having recent experience of buying a less expensive type.

Great value & easy to set up & use.
What a super little radio at a bargain price. I bought it to replace my Pure DAB radio, which I broke when I dropped it. That cost me over £80 which is why I say that this replacement is such a bargain. It was well packaged & still had 70% charge in the battery. The instruction manual is excellent & the radio was tuned & working in just a few minutes.A great buy, highly recommended!

Good radio for the price, everything works as shown in the advert, plus one useful extra...
DAB and DAB+ work well (in UK if it picks up "Classic FM" then you know DAB+ is working). FM sensitivity is quite good, even though the received signal strength where I live is not good. Sound quality is reasonable for such a small, very cheap device. Bluetooth works fine, but see my suggested improvement to the manufacturer below. Usability also good, it's easy to use all the functions without referring to the instruction book. Note the comment made by another reviewer - the alarm will not work unless the device is charging with the USB cable. This is stated in the instruction book, but not on the Amazon description. It has one hidden function that I think is good, related to the clock and alarms. It is hidden because neither the Amazon details, nor the instruction book say anything about it: When you first switch on after purchase, it will scan for DAB stations and can be used as expected. When you switch it off, either with, or without the USB charger connected, the screen will go black. But if you set an alarm just once and switch it off then the device will show the time on the screen whilst turned off. I find this useful to use as a clock, especially during the night. The clock can be set to either analog or digital display, the digital version has nice big numbers in a dim orange colour. It will also show whether the alarms are enabled or disabled. This will still happen even if the alarms are subsequently disabled, so long as an alarm was previously enabled at least once and the device turned off, but ONLY if the USB charger is connected. One minor negative point and one suggested improvement:It is a shame that, in common with most mobile phones, the alarm won't work if the USB charger is not connected. Obviously this makes sure the alarm doesn't fail because the device has run out of power, but I think it should be up to the user to ensure the device has enough charge to last the night and make the alarm sound! I have to take yet another device on trekking/camping trips to make sure I get up the next day :-(The suggested improvement is as follows: The Bluetooth works well to play an MP3 player or mobile phone through this radio as a speaker. But it would be good if we could connect Bluetooth headphones to listen to the radio. This is impossible because there is no way to pair headphones to the radio, at least I've never seen any headphones with that capability. I'm sure this radio could have additional user interface settings to choose headphones to pair with, but I realise this will probably require alterations to the Bluetooth protocol supported by this radio device as well. Should just be software changes I expect, no hardware changes should be required? Just a thought for the manufacturer or for the seller to feed back to the manufacturer. Admittedly I don't know the Bluetooth protocol, maybe its forbidden for a device to selectively choose between being a Bluetooth speaker or a Bluetooth player at the user's choice? But I really think this would be just a software programmer's task to make it work!

Exceeded my expectations
I love this radio. Couldn’t be easier to scan and save dab+ stations, or connect via Bluetooth to use as a speaker. The radio itself is really quite surprising; whilst small and portable, it seems very robust and the screen is bright enough to use indoors and out. Additionally, the battery charges quickly and lasts a long time. Great value for money!
