Great Information
Great information for the container gardener in all of us. Besides our farm, I use container gardening on our patio close to the kitchen as my kitchen garden. It really helps you understand what does and does not do well in the small container. Almost everything can be grown this way, and that is super helpful. Would make a great gift for your favorite gardener, or a wedding present with some plants and soil for the newlyweds.

Great for a novice gardener
(that's me, I'm a novice gardener)There's a lot that goes into a successful container garden, so if you were like me and thought the equation was just pot + plant + dirt = produce, this will be very enlightening. I live in a tough climate and used several of the tips hear to keep my plants hydrated and happy. I'm still a bad gardener, but now it's not because of my choice of containers ;)

This was a gift and the gift-recipient said it is very comprehensive
The gift-recipient was previously given a couple small potted blueberry plants by another gift-giver. With no experience in potted plants, they started searching the internet. So, I bought this book for them. Waving they're hands around they said, "I'm definitely learning a lot but it may be more than they can I can absorb. It is very comprehensive; it goes on and on about everything you can imagine: all different types of soils, pests, type of plants, nutrition, how to feed them, diseases, it goes on and on...."So I, the gift-giver, can say the gift-recipient needed something less exhaustive but it may be great for someone who really wants to dig down deep in potted plants.
