Love, Cecil: A Journey with Cecil Beaton

Excellent book with a scrapbook compilation consisting of numerous photographs, diary extracts and detail of Cecil Beaton’s life and career supported by the author’s excellent narrative. A must for all admirers of this great man’s work.Unfortunately, once again, let down by Amazon’s poor packaging of this first class book. No internal protection provided for this large and heavy book resulting in severe damage to the cover sleeve which I discarded. As Amazon now charge for returns for goods even as in this case it is damaged in their transit system due to inadequate packaging, I kept the book and discarded the dust cover. As such 4 star review, in reality book is definitely 5 stars.
