Great controller! Connected straight away and had zero issues!

I was on the fence on whether or not to buy this as I'm big into gaming and I didnt want my PS experience to be lessened by a knockoff remote. But given the enormous price difference between this one and a Sony branded one, I figured it would hurt to try. This remote is quite rough on the vibration (doesn't really distinguish between large attacks and small ones). Other than that, I cant believe how good it is! Absolutely worth the price. Its sturdy, looks good, feels good. I’ll definitely buy again.

This controller works great and for the price I was expecting less. The weight feels around the same as the official controller in the hand and the build quality seems solid. The charging port being USB-C is a massive, MASSIVE step up from the official controller as well making it so much easier to charge without having to fish out an old, slow charging cable. The buttons feel fine, although the shoulder and trigger buttons being ever so slightly differently positioned from the official means that any accessories you might have like grips or trigger extenders will not be compatible with this one. The d-pad is serviceable and feels fine to use but is a bit of a step back from the official controller, however due to it as I said being perfectly fine to use I feel that this is more than fair for such a dramatic price difference. The battery life so far has been brilliant and was the main reason I had to replace my controller in the first place, I have went through a few official PS4 controllers over the years for multiple reasons, but considering my main console I play at the moment is my PS5 I can't justify spending such a ridiculous price just to replace my bedroom "remote-play" system. My official controllers battery was taking forever to charge and would show 3 bars for 2 hours, then randomly drop to 1 and die very soon after. This controller out of the box was fully charged, and having been using it for over 6 hours straight now and it still being at full charge, I can pretty safely say it holds up. Ultimately, I would recommend this controller to anyone based on my experience with it so far, or more so, that I couldn't recommend anyone pay THAT price for an official controller when something like this is available. I would like to add that since this is based on my early experience with the controller and because I am recommending it to this degree, I don't even need to promise that I will come back to report if anything changes my feeling on it, I know that I will instantly HAVE to do so. So if you are reading this in the future and there is nothing added to this, that I still feel the same and had no reason to update to warn anyone about it. Happy gaming everyone!

This might be a 3rd party controller but it performs perfectly. The left stick sometimes squeaks but it doesn't affect the usability. The kids love it too because of the cosmic colour scheme.

Yeah never mind. After constant unplugging/replugging to re-establish connectivity, the USB port disconnected from the circuit board. So now it's trash. Got maybe 200 hours out of it. ---------- Probably got about 30 hours of play on this now, and it became clear very quickly what the good and bad points of this controller were. First, the good points: This is a rock solid unit from a button point of view. Every button feels very tight with great feedback and response. I especially like how the options and share buttons are actually raised and not flush like in the standard DS4. The non-slip handles aren't that non-slip but do help get a better grip on the unit. Neutral points - Not a big fan of the design, and while the supplied button caps are useful, again, not a fan of the design. But they're OK. I cannot comment on battery life because ... Bad points - the bluetooth is trash. Just absolutely useless. The longest connectivity I had was approximately 7 minutes, but more averagely around 30 seconds before disconnecting. I assume the bluetooth is faulty in this unit, and I almost returned it, but it works so well as a wired unit that I kept it. I would definitely recommend it as a purchase, at this price, but just watch out for connectivity issues.

Battery doesn't last as long as I'd hoped it would and it has crashed and stopped working at times

Using for PS4 - Great value for the price. Feels nice and weighty, rear triggers have the right level of resistance for partial up to full depression. USB-C connection enables quick charging, and the battery life is good.
