Several months ago, I rewired the house with CAT-7 wire and this made all the difference. Putting these ends on was easy and I haven't had any network problems.

The media could not be loaded. I bought some non-modular cat-8 plugs and cut several connections off after they failed with my tester. These plugs saved my sanity. They're awesome. 👍 👌Also, if you notice, there's a ground test in my video... don't cut all of the shield off... wrap it with your ground wire and secure it to the outside insulation with foil tape before you crimp. Cat-8 is fast, but you need that ground for noise isolation.Use a switch with good surge suppression to keep lightening out of your electronics.I hope it helps somebody! 💯

Absolute crap. These heads are the hardest thing to put on I think i have ever done. getting the wires to slide in correctly is nearly impossible. You have to get all the wires into one object that seems like its there to help you get it into another, but doesn't help at all. Furthermore this isn't cable matters fault although they could have come up a solution to make the install easier, but whoever came up with the seemingly pointles idea of switching the blue and the green wire, know that in the bottom of my heart I hate you. Me and my electrician both gave up.

When I bought a 500' wooden spool of outdoor rated, shielded cat 6A ethernet cable, I was sure I would only be able to terminate using keystones, surface mount boxes or field termination plugs. Never dreamed I could use any sort of pass-through connector, but these guys work without much issue and my Klein VDV226-110 crimper fits them. There are some minor issues specifically having to do with difficulty getting individual wires to pass thru easily which is why I assume the load bars are included (found they didn't seem to help me, but YMMV). Only other issue is lack of metal on the inside for contact with the ground wire necessitating use of the attached ground loop which I hate (but isn't specific to this brand). Neither issue is sever enough to warrant any subtraction of stars. Overall, these termination connectors are a good value, and I have purchased an additional 20 pak after using up the first very quickly.

These get the job done, but are not super easy to install nor provide any special features. They are at best average from a functional standpoint. Where the Excel is, they are relatively inexpensive.

We used numerous of these male cat8 connectors. It was a little tricky with our cable that did not have the color stripe on each white wire, but we spent a little more time to check each connection.Overall, very good for the price.

These two part plugs are difficult to use. I find it much easier to use the ones where you just slide in the wires and clip, as opposed to sliding into a small plastic piece first and then sliding into the plug. It took me much longer to make and crimp cables than with the „normal“ plugs. On top of that, the metal „necks“ are so sharp. I ended up cutting my finger making a cable and it bled profusely since the metal is super sharp. Never again!
