Chipboard Cardboard Sheets - Medium Weight - 25 Per Pack. (8.5 x 11)

Bought these to make front and backs for hand made journals. They are sturdy enough but not to thick or heavy. Only problem I had was mailman kind of rolled the package to fit in mail box and I had to place under some books to straighten but worked fine.

This is a great backboard if you want a semi rigid backing. I did not want it to be very hard in my clutch purses as it could break if the purse is dropped or hits something. I like that it has a bit of give. I will use it to mail out items too because of that "give". My daughter took a couple to draw on. It really is quite a good medium.

These chipboard sheets would work wonderfully for most people's crafts, however, I am a bookbinder, and find them a little flimsy for being book covers. Their strength is about the same as one of my signatures (Paper folded together), and they have about the same rigidity of four pieces of regular copy paper, folded in half. Very good for some projects, not recommended for bookbinding.

A little on the flimsy side, not the material I thought it would be. I was looking to use it as a book cover, this is way too thin for that.

This is no thicker than a cereal box. Bought to use as backing board for shipping flat prints in rigid mailers. These are useless for that purpose.
